I walk down stairs with my mom having a tense conversation with lots of arguing, then she hangs up on the person and touches her forehead frustrated.

"Mom are you okay, who are you talking to" I asked her

" Oh really it's not anyone important. You want me to make breakfast, Shane" My mom told me.

"Nah I am going to be late but I think I got an apple in my locker"

"Alright see you after school"

I wonder who she was on the phone with. I know I have to ask her about the adoption paper but I'm just scared.

As I was getting out of my car I saw Savannha slum looking and very weak. I ran up to her.

"Hey, Savannha, you okay?" I shouted to her with concern.

"Yeah just tired" She said grumpy.

"Are you okay, you seem really mad. Did I do something"

" No Eth, it's just for one I got kicked off the cheerleader squad and I'm pretty sure my boyfriend or what ever he is, is not even into me anymore"

"Woah wait what happened between you and Shane" I asked confused.

"He didn't tell you like I thought he tells you everything"

"Look Savannha me and Shane are not really friends or anything, we were just pretending well it was his idea to just pretend we are because you have cancer and well I don't know how to put it"

"Wow you know I am losing the love of my life. Cancer is ruining my life. I'm just so done"

I don't know why I just bad mouthed Shane. He's my best friend well at least to me and I just tried to talk his girlfriend out of dating him which really confuses me, why would I do that.

Ali still hasn't talk to me and it's been the whole weekend. She haven't even called back after our last conversation. I just really miss her but I don't know where I stand with Savannha or what I want.

"Shany" Ariana yelled pulling me out of my thoughts.

" You okay I haven't talk to you all weekend" Ariana asked me.

"Yeah I just got a lot on my mind"
