"Kemi, let's go." Yuta said, an arm wrapped around her shoulders as he ushered her through the dark.

Kemi was confused and dazed as they ran further into the darkness.

"My friend is waiting for us. You met him before. Trust me in this, okay Kemi?" Yuta said softly, trying his best to get both of them away from their past.

Kemi had trust in her brother, and kept running beside him as they went. After a few minutes, Yuta slowed them down to let her catch her breath.

"We can walk now, we are close. I promised you that I would get us both out of that house. I found us a place to stay. We'll be safe, trust me, Kemi." Her brother said softly.

Kemi looked up at her brother with a scared expression

"I promise."

"Thank you, really, for letting us stay here." Yuta said, sitting next to his sister who was asleep on the couch.

"No problem. We'll be leaving soon, however. My parents agreed and everything. They've bought a place for us all." Taeyong said softly, not to wake the twelve year old girl.

"All of us? Fifeteen?" Johnny asked from the chair.

"All of us. We are all people running from our past, and our future. We can stay there, and we can create our own lives they way it is truly suitable for us. The younger children can go to school and we can get everything figured out." Taeyong said.

"We owe everything to you and your parents at this point." Yuta said.

"Anything to keep their son from exposing them, you know?" Taeyong said with a pityful laugh.

"They are helping everything go without a trace?" Johnny asked.

"Yep. They are willing to fix the problems with everything. Just so I don't expose their little secret and ruin their growing company." Taeyong said.

"Good. They - we - all desearve better than what we've been given." Taeil said.

"Kemi, go wake up Mark and Haechan. And get Yangyang." Yuta said to his sister. She nodded and walked back towards the bedrooms.
She knocked on the bedroom door, before walking in.

"Good morning, Kemi." Mark said, checking his phone after she played their alarm.

"I'll get Haechan." Mark said, looking over at the sleeping boy. Kemi nodded and left the room, going across the hall, walking into the room there.

"Hi Kemi." Yangyang said, sending the girl a smile. Kemi pointed out the door, making Yangyang sigh.

"Alright, I'm coming. Can't have Yuta getting mad now." Yangyang said, getting off his bed.

Kemi walked back into the kitchen where her brother waited.

"Time to eat. Set the table with Kemi." Yuta said directly to Yangyang as the other boys walked into the room.

"It's the first day of school. You guys need to get ready." Yuta said.

"Where is Taeyong and Johnny?" Haechan asked.

"They got a new job. And right now, I'm on house duty. So unless you have a death wish, you better listen. You guys are aware that Kemi is going into regular classes now. Please watch for her." Yuta said as he joined the several boys at the table.

"Next month, Kun and Ten will be back. They will be a big help." Yuta said.

"I can't believe that the seven of them got to leave the country and I had to stay here." Yangyang comeplained.

"You had bad grades." Mark pointed out.

"You don't yell at Jisung or Chenle!" Yangyang complained again.

"You don't see them here. They already ate and got ready for classes so they can games." Haechan said.

"I'm aware."

°°°

"The school already knows about Kemi. Please tell me immediately if something happens." Yuta said as they were getting into the cars.

"We will. Bye Yuta." Mark said as Kemi got into the passenger seat.

"Bye Mark. Bye Kemi. Good luck you guys." Yuta said as the seven teens went off to the high school.

"So, Kemi, you have class with Yangyang right?" Mark asked, looking over at the girl, who only nodded.

"Well, I have a few friends. And according to our scedules, you have lunch with the two of them and then the rest of us you already know. Would you like to sit with us?" Mark asked.

Kemi nodded but she felt he had more to say.

"Don't worry about anything and just sit down beside me or Yangyang." Mark said, looking over to see her nod once again.

"Good luck, Kemi. Also, did you grab your notebook?" Mark asked. Kemi nodded and pointed at her little grey bag, the crimson colored cover of the journal peaking over the edge.

"That's good. I hope it goes well, Kemi." Mark said as he parked beside Haechan.

"Alright, well, Jisung and Chenle, you guys know where to go. Kemi go with Yangyang." Mark said as they four of them left his car.

°°°

"Alright, you are sitting over here. I'll be right behind you if you need anything." Yangyang said. The girl walked over to her seat.

Their teacher, Mr. Kim, brought a sigh of relief to the girl.

"Alright so class, it is a new year and we see some new faces," Mr. Kim began, "why don't we begin by introducing ourselve. Everyone find one person and introduce yourselves."

Yangyang, after the teachers signal, immediately went to Kemi.

"Hi, I'm Yangyang." He laughed, knowing that he's known her for over five years.

Mr. Kim walked over to the two of them.

"Doyoung, is this really your new job?" Yangyang asked. Doyoung laughed as he nodded.

"It's going to be easier for her too. Don't worry, I'll do my best to work around that. I mean, this is an English class. But you can have Mark help you at home." Doyoung said, patting the girl's head.

Sending Doyoung a smile, Kemi went back to her notebook.
I think I have learned enough from him.
She wrote in English, making her teacher and her close friend both laugh.
