"Did you hear about that mute girl?" Kemi heard some girls say in the bathroom.

"Yeah, she's definitely doing it for attention. I mean she's even friends with the Dreamies. She's probably forcing them to hang out with her." The second girl said.

"She also gets special treatment from teachers, especially Mr. Kim."

Getting annoyed from the girls, Kemi finished her business and walked out of the stall.

"Oh look who it is, the mute here herself." The first girl, who Kemi recognized as Sorin, said.

"So, are you forcing the dreamies to be around you?" Sorin asked whole her friend, Minra, laughed.

Tired of listening to them, and curious what would happen, Kemi nodded with a smile.

"You're such a fake bitch, aren't you?" Minra asked, taking a step towards Kemi.

"So, what all did you lie about? Are you actually mute?" Sorin asked.

Kemi nodded.

"What about the boys? Are you forcing them to hang out with you?" Minra asked.

Kemi shook her head no, the truth by all means.

"Maybe you should keep to your original story." Sorin laughed before smacking Kemi across the face. Kemi froze, the familiarity coming over her.

"Can't even fight back?" Minra teased, yet Kemi stayed still.

"Well, this will be fun." Sorin laughed.

"Mr. Kang, I need to go see Mr. Kim. It is an emergency." Mark said, shooting up from his seat.

"What is is Mr. Lee?" The teacher said, surprised at the students outburst.

"It my...cousin. there's something wrong." Mark lied.

"What does Mr. Kim have to do with that?" The teacher asked.

"She is his neice." Mark said.

"Oh, well go in. Please make sure your work gets finished." Mr. Kang said before continuing the class.

Mark sent a message to the group chat consisting of him and the seven other boys. They met up with him at rhe front of the school where Yuta waited

"She still hasn't arrived." Yuta said worriedly.

"The last place she went was the barhroom." Jeno said.

"Minra and Sorin?" Jisung said.

"You don't think they hurt her, do you?" Jaemin asked.

"I don't know, let's go. Clearly since it hasn't been reported yet, no one else would know." Mark said before the nine of them raced through the halls of the school, getting to where their nearly unconscious friend waited.

"Kemi?" Jaemin said from outside the bathroom door.

"Jaemin?" She was able to muumble out, but from the otherside of the door, he couldn't tell what she had said.

He opened the door slowly, to give warning he was coming inside.

"Kemi!" He said as he saw her on the floor.

"What in the cliché?" Haexham mumbled as the rest followed Jaenin in.

"We need to get her to the hospital." Yuta said. Jaemin knealed down beside the girl and looked back at her older brother and back at her.

"Do you trust me?" He asked softly. Mustering up what she could, she gave the boy a small nod. Jaemin gently picked the girl up in his arms, carrying her out of the bathroom, everyone else following him.

"Why is Jaemin carrying her? Why doesn't Yuta?" Jisung asked.

"Because Yuta is driving, obviously. Did you forget what we said at lunch? Of course he'd be the one to step up first." Chenle said to the younger.

In the hospital, Kemi was brought in immediately. And they quickly took care of what they could.

"So, Mr. Na, you must be the boy my little sister has been wanting to talk to. Enough she asked me to help her." Yuta said at the ten of them sat in the waiting room.

"I guess so." Jaemin said nervously.

"You kept the necklace, I see. That's good. Did you know the story behind that necklace?" Yuta asked.

"Kemi just said that she thought she lost it." Jaemin said.

"Our parents, were by far, not the best people. That necklace was the last real present she was ever given, by anyone. She absolutely loved it. I don't remember why I trusted you so much back then. You were both so young. But I guess my intuition was right, and the two of you met again." Yuta said, a small smile appearing on his face.

"I've only known her for a month, but I recognized her the first day." Jaemin said.

"Not to mention how happy you've made her." Yuta said.

"Sorry to ruin the mood BUT EVERYONE! RENJUN IS COMING BACK!" Chenle said loudly, showing everyone his phone.

"He's back from his trip to China?" Yuta asked, looking over.

"Yep. And I didn't tell him about her speaking, so he can be surprised." Chenle said.

"How happy I've made her?" Jaemin said, bringing back the previous conversation.

"I don't think I've seen her smile so much - not even when Renjun was around." Yuta said.

"Oh. Wow. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" Jaemin asked.

"It'd be a good thing, but when Renjun comes back, they're inseparable." Yuta said.

"The thing is, Renjun has liked her for years, but she sees all of us as her brothers." Mark said.

"That's for sure. But you know what? She doesn't blush when someone teases the two of them, but she does if Jaemin calls her pretty." Haechan said.

"Well, since I find it very clear that he likes her, what do you guys think?" Yuta asked.

"He definitely likes her." They agreed.

"So it's going to be a race between him and Renjun? One of his best friends?" Chenle asked.

"I'm not racing anyone. If she doesn't like me, it's alright, I'm not going to force her." Jaemin said.

"So you admit you like her?" Haechan laughed.

"Alright, let's leave the poor boy alone. The love of his life is in that hospital room." Yuta said, wanting to keep the mood light unlike the pit of worry growing in his stomach.

The room fell into a comfortable silence for only a few minutes.

"Mr. Nakamoto?"
