Notebook. Na. Jaemin.

Six.

"Kemi, someone's here to see you!" Haechan said, coming into her bedroom. She nodded and left the room with a wide smile, excited to see Jaemin.

"Kemi!" Renjun said excitedly, running over to the girl. Kemi's eyes widened, but she hugged the boy nonetheless.

It wasn't but a few minutes before the doorbell rang.

"I'd hate to cut the reunion short but little miss Kemi has a date." Yuta laughed, making all of the boys turn towards him. Kemi walked towards the door, opening it to reveal Jaemin.

"Jaemin?" Renjun asked, confused on why it was his best friend was showing up to his house.

"Hi Renjun! Glad to see you're back." Jaemin said before looking over at Kemi.

"Ready to go?" He asked. Kemi nodded before turning back to the rest of the boys and waving good bye.

"I'll have her back by seven, just as I promised." Jaemin said before the two of them walked out of the door.

"Since when have they been dating?" Renjun asked when the door was shut.

"They aren't. But they like each other for sure. Not to mention he was literally the one to carry her from the bathroom to the car, and from the car into the hospital." Chenle said.

"What happened to her? Is she alright?" Renjun asked nervously.

"She's fine now, it was-"

"Minra and Sorin. They got to her while she was in the bathroom." Yangyang said.

"They hurt her?" Renjun asked.

"Yes, but it's fine now. But she really likes Jaemin. If I hear about you messing things up between the two, I'll make you forget who Kemi is." Yuta warned, the rest agreeing.

"Why would I mess things up?" Renjun asked.

"Well, you're very overprotective of her. Worse than Yuta. Not to mention you had a crush on her for years." Mark explained.

"Oh. About that...I actually don't anymore. I might have met someone else while on my trip. I was just surprised,  that's all. I mean, I'm sure you guys were all somewhat surprised when Jaemin arrived to pick up Kemi." Renjun said sheepishly.

"Well yeah, but we also had a good idea who it was after Yuta said she had a date." Haechan said.

"Well, if they make each other happy." Renjun said as he got a message.

"But they also met when they were nine. They didn't expect to meet again." Jisung said.

"Jaemin was the last person Kemi spoke to before going mute." Yuta said.

"Wow. Good for them, I guess." Renjun said, halfway listening, smiling at his phone.

"So, you said you met someone, is this the said person?" Yuta asked.

"Yeah. Our flight here to Korea was delayed and we ended up sitting by each other while waiting. I have no clue how I did it, but I actually got her number. And then when we were on the plane, we had seats beside each other." Renjun explained.

"That's adorable."

"Kemi, which movie would you like to see?" Jaemin asked. Kemi looked at the screen that displayed what movies would be playing in which theater, pointing when she found one that seemed interesting.

"Alright. I'll get some popcorn and drinks." Jaemin smiled after gettimg them tickets. Kemi smiled as she waited patiently.

"Look at that. Just before seven." Yuta laughed, going towards the door as he saw headlights through the window.

Yuta heard Jaemin talking from the otherside of the door, and decided to listen to what he had to say to his little sister.

"I'm glad you had fun, Kemi. I'll see you at school, alright?" Yuta heard Jaemin say before opening the door.

"Hey Jaemin." Yuta said.

"Hi Yuta." Jaemin said before turning to Kemi again and giving her one last hug good bye.

"Bye Kemi." Jaemin said with a smile, Kemi waving in response.

"So, did you guys have fun?"  Yuta asked as she walked inside. Kemi nodded, and continued to her room.

Kemi grabbed her notebook and went to see Renjun. She knocked once on his door before he said to go in.

"Hi Kemi. How was your date?" He teased. Kemi put a thumbs up, before sitting beside him on his bed.

How was your trip?

"It was fun. And I met a girl." Renjun said.

That's good. Our little Renjunie needs to get out more.

"Coming from you." Renjun laughed.

This isn't about me. Tell me more about this girl.

"Her name is Maya. She's an exchange student. But she's really pretty. She has this light brown hair, right. And she said that she preferred it short because it's easier to take care of. And she has this natural blush and bright green eyes too." Renjun said, a smile unknowingly going onto both of their faces.

Our Renjunie has a crush~

"Says the one going on a date with my friend." Renjun said, looking at her.

Maya makes you happy. Jaemin makes me happy.

"I'm aware. But of all the people you could have chosen, it was Jaemin?" Renjun laughed.

You make it sound like a bad thing

"I just find it funny. That's all. He'll be good with you. Who knows? Maybe he'll be able to get you to talk again." Renjun laughed.

...he has already.

"Really? Wow, so he's gatekeeping your voice now?" Renjun laughed.

No, something happened. Not with Jaemin..just in general

"Thats why you were in the hospital, right?" Renjun asked.

Yeah, he even carried me out of the bathroom and to Yuta's car.

"What a prince for our hopeless romantic." Renjun laughed.

I want to meet Maya

"Why?"

I want to meet the person who made out Renjunie so happy, obviously. Besides, you already know Jaemin.

"Fair, fair." Renjum said.

"So, what did you say to Jaemin...when you begun talking to him?" Renjun asked.

I reintroduced myself, that's all. And then he gave me this necklace that I thought I lost when I was nine years old.

"You're such a hopeless romantic - but  with a chance."
