Emily pov:
I went to work and avoided Otis as much as I could. "You hate me, why are you in my office?" Casey asked. "I don't hate you, your my brother. Just pissed." I said. "OK, why are you here?" He asked. "TV's busted so I wanted to stay in here. Also Otis and I broke up." I said.

I sat on his bed. "I'm sorry." He said. "You know I get attached to easily. But Brian was different. It was like he actually cared about me. But I guess I was wrong." I said.

"He's coming! Hide!" Casey said. I ducked under the bed. "Hey, Luitenant." Otis said. "Casey." Casey said. "Right. Have you heard from Emily?" Otis asked. "Yes. When she was crying on my shoulder." Casey said.

"Matt-" He stopped. I could hear the pain in his voice. "I didn't want to! But she belongs in 51. And I won't get accepted if I transfer. I just didn't know what to do." Otis said. "If I could, I'd take her back in the blink of an eye!" I looked up and tears were rolling down his cheeks.

Casey sighed. "I'm sorry." He said. "Come on, let's go sort out our oxygen tanks." He said. Soon after they left I followed them. We got our gas tanks sorted, but half way through, Mills ran in.

"Good afternoon, Candidate." Herrmann said. "Sorry." Mills said out of breath. "First he blows a no-hitter. Now he's coming in five minutes late. So much for employee of the week." Otis said.

"It won't happen again, I promise." Mills said. "Get changed out, let's go." Casey said. Mills then ran to get changed and Casey walked over to Shay and Dawson.

"You know, you were the candidate up until not long ago." Cruz said. "Why are you riding him so hard?" He asked. "The abused abuse..." Otis said. I rolled my eyes and walked to the kitchen to get a snack.

I then sat down at the table and the other's came not long after. Otis went to sit next to me, but Joe sat there instead. "That ain't gonna cut it." Joe said, pointing at the TV.

"Signs out front. Just a matter of time before a good samaritan steps up." Mouch said. "We can do that?" Mills asked. "Oh, yeah. It's frowned upon, but it's not illegal per standards and procedures." Mouch answered. I smiled. I love 51.

"Last year, we got the new- what was it?" Mouch asked anyone. "Microwave." Herrmann said. "Got the new microwave by doing this." Mouch said. "It took three months to get the new microwave." Cruz said. "The bears game is this Sunday." He said. I finished my food while listening to the rest of the convocation.

-

I was sat on the opposite side of the couch then Mouch, listening to Mills ideas to try and get a new TV. "Everybody on the floor. We're gonna do a drill. You too, Sis. It will be good for you." Casey said. I rolled my eyes.

Mills had to use a blacked out face mask and do stuff to a dummy. Otis laughed. "No showing up late to this one, Candidate." He said. Casey looked at me and winked. "I got two masks." Casey said to Otis. I walked over to Casey and kissed him on the cheek.

"Still hate me?" He asked. I looked at Otis. "A little less." I said. He smiled and got the boys to do the drill. Hallie then came.

-

After the drill I walked to the beds and lied down, reading a book. Otis lossed which made me pretty happy. I then heard cheering.

I walked out and saw a 43 inch TV. "Who's it from?" Casey asked. "Detective Voight. He saw your sign." Someome said. "Is that a 40 inch?" Otis asked. "43." I said then rubbed Casey's shoulder. He has beef with Voight. I walked into the kitchen with my head down.

The alarm then went off. It was a jumper. I ran to the truck and got my gear on. He jumped and got his arm impaled by a fence. We got him out safely, having to cut the fence though. Then we got the fence out. They got him to the hospital before he died so he was good that we know of.

-

I walked back to the kitchen and started reading again, trying to ignore everyone around me. "Hey, Em-" Otis walked up to me but I cut him off. ''I can't." I said then walked to the beds. I sat down and sighed. I can't keep running away from him.

-

After my shift, Chief Boden came up to me. "What's up?" I asked. "You and me are going to grab a beer." He said. I nodded. "What's Caseys favourite bar?" He asked me. "Thats easy." I said then took him to it.

When we got there we walked up to Casey. "Casey." Boden said. "Chief. Sis." He said. We then sat on the bar opposite them. "Hey Chief, uh. Can you give us a minute? This is kinda a private convosation." Voight asked.

"No, I'm good." Boden replied. I looked at Casey and he looked angry. Voight then got up and left. We then sat with Casey. "I'm not changing a word." He said. We all smiled slightly.

-

After the bar we all went home. I went up to my room and looked at my phone. My home screen was still Otis. I then heard someone knock at the door and Casey let them In but I didn't know who. I just layed down and looked through the pictured on my phone.

"Knock, knock." A very familiar voice said. I looked up and it was Otis. I then got a text from boden. 'Aproved.' I smiled at looked at Otis.

"You know I almost died today. We were supposed to hold this car, but I thought I saw you and my arm slipped. Severide almost cut my arm off." He said.

"Brian-" He cut me off. "No. I'm sorry. I never should have agreed to break up. The truth is, Emily. I love you." He said. I stood up and kissed him. "I love you to." I said. He smiled.

He then got something out of his pocket. "No. Otis, you can't transfer." I said. "I love 51, but your my everything." Otis said.

I sighed. I shook my head and got a transfer paper out of my draw. "Stay here." I said. I walked downstairs and saw Boden. "Perfect. I'm transferring." I said. I gave him my paper then walked upstairs.

Boden came up after me. "Neither of you are transferring. I'll see you at work tomorrow." He said then walked out. I smiled then hugged Otis.

-

I went to work and saw Mouch counting money with the rest of 81. I walked next to Casey who looked comfused. "$344 for a new TV." Mouch said. "We found a 32-inch over in Rosco village. The guy said its barley been used." Herrmann said.

Lately Casey has been really into what happened with Voight. So Casey and I looked at each other and had the exact same thought. "We've got a better idea." Casey and I said at the same time.

We went over to the house of the kid who is now paralysed and began to build a ramp. Otis then came over. "What's that?" Casey asked him. "You asked for a level." Otis said. I laughed. "That's a T square." I said. "Oh." Otis said.

"Just, go." Matt said. "OK." Otis walked away. I asked over to him and showed him what a level was. "Your so cute." I said. He kissed me.

"Bears game starts in a hour. Is there a decent spot to watch it around here? Not to crowded, not to loud, and we can get seats?" Mouch said.

"Yeah, yeah I know a place." Mills said. Mills took us to his restaurant. I smiled. "Is this Mills mom?" I asked. She hugged me. "Yes it is." She said. I smiled. "Are you the girlfriend?" She asked. I blushed slightly. "Mom!" Mills yelled.  "No, actually I'm just his best friend." I said. She nodded. "That's lovely." She said.

Mills then walked up to me. He handed me a beer. "I'm so sorry about her." He said. "Don't worry about it." I said. We hugged and I walked over and sat with Otis.

"What was that?" He asked. "Nothing." I said. I then walked over with Mills and another girl. ''This is my sister, Elise." Mills said. "Emily." I said as I hugged her.

"I've heard so much about you." She said. I looked at Mills and he looked down. I smiled. "Well, I hope they were all good things." I said. She smiled. I then sat down with Mills.

We were talking while the others were watching the game. "So, you've been talking about me?" I asked. "I'm sorry." He said. "Don't be. I don't mind. As long as there all good things." I said with a laugh. He laughed to.

"Always." He said. He put his hand on mine and we looked at each other. "Em." Casey whispered. He then looked at Otis who was looking at us. I quickly moved my hand and sat back a little bit.
