"Sorry girls, duty calls," Robin says as the girls whine and grovel at his feet. "Oh come my loves, I'll be back," he says kissing each of their hands before grabbing his jacket and walking out of the room with Reygan.
"Do you seriously need to have that many of them in there with you? You're not fuckin Hughe Hefner," Reygen says walking down the hallway.
"A man can dream mate," Robin says before slipping on his jacket and lighting another cigarette. He walks out to the lobby and scans the room.
I look around while laughing at something Ivy said before my eyes meet his. My smile immediately fades and I sulk back in my chair, clenching my glass watching Robin make his way over to us.
Ivy and Anna follow my gaze to the two men approaching our table.
"Who is that?" Anna asks before they approach our booth.
"Cora, mă bucur să te văd (Cora, pleasure to see you)," Robin says with a wicked smile before meeting Ivys eyes and running his eyes over her body. Her cheeks grow warm and she quickly looks away from him.
"Nu pot spune același lucru despre tine, Robin (Can't say the same about you, Robin)," I say standing up and wedging myself between him and Ivy. I look over at Reygan, "Still following my brother around like a lost puppy Reygan?"
Reygan furrows his brow with a slight grin, "Ouch. Well someone has to make sure he doesnt get himself killed."
I stare angrily into Robins eyes, but otherwise I'm emotionless, "Wouldn't be a bad thing truthfully."
"Damn Cora. Your wreched husband really made you hard as stone eh?" Robin says grinning before taking a seat at the table next to us. "You like my pub?"
"Its alright," I say sitting down in front of Anna and Ivy. "Pretty cheap cigarettes and booze you sell in here. Could barely choke down my drink," I say crossing my leg over the other.
"Who are these fine ladies you have with you?" Robin says with a smile leaning over to look at Anna and Ivy. Ivys face is still flush but Annas expression is cold as ice.
"None of your fuckin concern," I say as Reygan taps Robins shoulder to get him to stop.
"Don't provoke Robin. Theres too many people in here if something happens," Reygan says before taking a puff of his cigarette.
Thats the thing about Reygan. Hes at least fuckin logical. My idiot brother doesn't have an ounce of common sense in his body.
"How long as it been?" Robin asks as one of the waitresses hands him a drink. "10 years?"
"Not long enough," I say taking a puff off my cigarette.
"Come now sister," Robin says standing up and leaning over me to look at me, "Why do you hate me so much?" Robin asks in a fakest genuine tone I've ever heard.
"Robin," Reygan says sternly, shooting him a glare and grabbing his shoulder.
"Lets see Robin," I say getting up, "My husband tries to take you under his wing and welcome you in the family and into the business. And then you turn around and try to sell half the business to Mr. Gold and you tried to kill the love of my life on my wedding day. So tell me, out of all of that, where the fuck do you think I would have an ounce of respect or likeness for you," I say gritting my teeth, almost nose to nose with him at this point.
Robin shrugs his shoulders, "Fair," he pauses before snatching ahold of my face. Digging his fingers into my cheeks the girls shoot up from the table but I hold my hand up to them for them to stop. "But remember who chose to abandon their family for a guy they just met," Robin says darkly.
