Monday morning. A bright sunny day and Jeongguk seems too bright and chirpy for his usual moody self in the early morning. Dressed prettily in his school uniform--the boy seemed very enthusiastic, excited about going to school today.
Having been finished with his boring breakfast and healthy orange juice--there he was, now wearing his shoes as he had his school bag hugging his shoulders tightly. A small grin permanently carved on his face as he hurriedly stepped out of his house, ignoring his mom's happy smile directed towards his cheerful self.
Today, he had decided to take his bicycle to school. Not really wanting to have a tired boyfriend for himself for today--he had decided upon taking the aesthetic vehicle only for his 'lover' who had texted him just half an hour ago about him being all set and ready for school and how he desired some tasty mayo chicken sandwich for lunch.
Jeongguk's mother was so ready to cook some tasty treats for her boys, thus--happily making two boxes for them--she happily packed them and placed inside jeongguk's bag.
The ride to taehyung's home felt like some mere steps towards their neighbour's house or it was because of the excitement and rush of adrenaline he felt in his body because of the change in labels and update in their bond and relationship between the two of them.
The moment he had stepped off his bicycle and stood right in front of taehyung's building - - his fingers were immediate to text the younger boy to get down as fast as possible.
It was no lie, just how hard and speedily his heart had been beating because of the elation and eagerness he felt just to see taehyung for once after two long days. Sure they chatted on phone, but seeing each physically after claiming each other as theirs--it felt kinda different and euphoric at the same time.
Around two minutes after he had arrived at the place, his doe immediately gazed back at the lobby of the building as soon as he heard soft, quite steps approaching him--
And was he goner already..
That stupidly pretty, shy grin taehyung held on his face? Fuck his gods--jeongguk felt jittery. Ecstatic and joy creeped up in each of his nerves as he kept his firm yet soft gaze on the younger boy who took his time to approach the older.
"hey.." voice sounding so quite and shy--jeongguk was sure he sounded like a teenage girl talking to her long time crush. "shut up~" taehyung replied, as he slowly wrapped his arms around the older's shoulders - - pulling him closer before he sighed peacefully near his neck.
"missed me?" jeongguk asked, his own arms claiming the younger's middle. Nose sniffing the crown of caramel brown hair.
"nah..i have been talking to you all day and night since the Friday night gukkie.. What makes you think I'll miss you more?" he slowly pulled away, honey brown orbs now looking back at jeongguk's darker ones.
