I woke up so poorly this morning that I had to call in sick and let my Twilight Sky team know that I will be off for two days. Thankfully, I have an amazing team who will hold it down for me as I focus on my recovery.

"Hey buttercup." I brighten up at the sound of my father's voice. "Your dad is here."

"Daddy." I hold out one arm as he bends down to hug me and I feel my face scrunch up as tears threaten to spill from my eyes. "I missed you."

"I missed you too." He kisses my temple. "But let's focus on getting you feeling like a hundred percent."

"Where's Chris?" I tiredly ask while going under the covers. "I want to cuddle with him."

"I'll cuddle with you." My dad says as he gets on the bed and I'm thankful he lays on top of the covers as we cuddle. "Chris went to the grocery store and I think he's going to the pharmacy after to get you something for he nausea."

"Ok." I rub my face. "I'm really happy that you're here but I hate that you're laying on my bed with your outside clothes."

He starts chuckling, "I cam straight from my house to here and I did take off my shoes before coming up the stairs."

"You're still washing my sheets." I joke as we laugh together. "What have you been up to recently? I haven't seen your face in a couple of weeks."

"I've been working on a new acting project in Georgia but we've wrapped up the first season so I'm back with my girls." I turn around to face my dad and he moves a piece of hair out of my face. "How have you been?"

"Really good." I answer honestly and he smiles. "Life has been amazing and I could not be happier for myself."

"I have always admired your positivity

"I have always admired your positivity." My dad tells me as he turns his head to look up at the ceiling. "One thing that I have been thinking about is marriage."
