You ran from your trampoline over to your best friend that has been your bestie since kindergarten, you both are now in 3rd grade. you sat next to Dahyun and asked her something.
y/n- Dahyun, what do you want to be when you grow up?
Dahyun- I wanna be a kpop idol
*time skip 5 years*
y/n-wooooahhh, you still wanna be a kpop idol?
Dahyun- yea but we live in Gwangju and ill have to move all the way to Seoul
y/n- WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! So ill move with you
Dahyun- yea but even if you do we still wont be able to see eachother because first i have to become a trainee and i wont have my phone
You sigh hearing this sad news
Dahyun- but all thats only if i get accepted into the company
y/n-what company are you auditioning for? YG?
Dahyun- JYP, also i forgot to tell you something
y/n- what is it?
Dahyun- next weekend my parents and I are gonna go to Seoul for the week and go to JYPE and see if thats where I wanna go
y/n- WHAT!?!?!?! What am i gonna do while you are gone?
Dahyun- I dont know and im sorry i forgot to tell you. And we are checking it out next week because they are holding auditions next month
y/n-wow, i never thought we would have to be apart
Dahyun- yea... me neither
They both started tearing up
*time skip one month*
You and Dahyun were in the car with her parents, you guys were on the way to the airport where you would be saying goodbye. When you arrived all four of you got out of the car sliggishly, not wanting this moment to come. You and Dahyun held hands the entire time until you arrived at her gate where she was gonna board her flight, all the way to Seoul.
*y/n pov*
She let go of my hand and took her luggage from her parents. I just stood their in silence. She hugged both of them and said her goodbyes...then it was my turn. She walked infront of me and stared me dead in the eyes and grabbed my hands, her eyes started to water then she began to talk.
Dahyun- I promise no matter how famous I become, you will always be my best friend, and I will never forget you.
You hugged for a minute but you wished it could have lasted forever, finally after what felt like only a second, she broke the hug and grabbed her luggage, she walked up to the flight attendant and handed her, her ticket. She walked to the door to board the plane but stopped and looked back at me. She showed me her finger heart and i did it back.
