You were sitting on the couch watching your favorite show when you heard the front door open. You got up and walked to the door and seen Mina walking through with a sad face. She wasn't crying but she looked very down, and you wondered what had happened. You walked up to her as she dropped her bag and kicked off her shoes, then you brought her in for a hug.
"What's wrong baby? You look sad." She laid her head on your shoulder and took a deep breath and you felt her warm breath hit your neck.
"Just a long and stressful day, ya know?" She explained and you hummed.
"I understand. What can I do to make it better?"
"Usually, you can do anything to make my day better, but today is just so bad that there's just nothing you can do" She giggled and lifted her head of your shoulder and laid her forehead against yours.
"Your wrong. I'm gonna make today 10 times better. Just give me a few minutes."
You smiled at her and brought her to the couch, and she sat down.
"I'm going to go to the store right down the street, stay here."
"Ok" She giggled, and you pecked her forehead before getting your sweatshirt and shoes on and left.
After you got everything, you needed, you went back home and walked through the front door.
"Don't look, I'm going upstairs" You yelled out to her.
"Ok!" She responded back. You brought the goods upstairs and set everything up just the way you thought would brighten her day.
You made your way back downstairs with a blind fold in your hand and went to the couch, where Mina was watching tv.
"I'm done, put this on" She took it out of your hands and looked unsure.
"I'm gonna walk up the stairs blindfolded?" She giggled and you took it out of her hands.
"Good point" You giggled and put it into your back pocket and reached out to take her hand, which she happily took. You walked up the stairs, hand-in-hand, and once you made it to your bedroom door, you stopped. You grabbed the handle but didn't turn it just yet.
"Close your eyes" you said calmly, and she closed her eyes and put her hands over them. You turned the knob and brought her in. You stood her in the doorway and hugged her from behind.
"Open your eyes" She pulled her hands away and opened her eyes and seen the room was decorated beautifully by you! You blew up balloons which were sitting all across the floor. You bought her a big, beautiful bouquet of her favorite flowers and placed them on the foot of the bed. And there was rose petals on the floor, leading to your shared, master bathroom.
"Princess, this is so beautiful! Thank you" She turned around and put her arms around your waist and kissed you passionately. You pulled away before you spoke.
"Is your day any better?" You asked hopefully.
"Yes! It's so much better, thanks to you" You smiled at her and pecked her lips.
"I'm glad you're happy now. How about you follow the trail of rose petals?" She let you go and walked into the bathroom, and you had bought a bunch of bath bombs and candles.
"I figure we can take a nice, relaxing bath together, then get dinner and watch movies."
"That sounds perfect, thank you so much. I love you."
She turned around again and put her arms around your waist, and you put yours around her neck.
"You don't have to thank me for helping you feel better" you said and pecked her lips sweetly, looking forward to the rest of the evening.
