A Light In Darkness Perpollo/Percollo/percyxapollo

Apollo is once again falling and he prays, to no one in particular thats its not into another dumpster, then he feels branches scratching at him and he hits the ground and rolls down a hill. He groans and slolwy stands up looking around.

Hes at camp half blood. Apollo slowly walks toward the big house feeling in pain from falling through trees. Couldnt have been the lake or somewere softer? I Could have died! He thinks to himself. While he walks he takes a look at himself and sees hes wearing the same outfit he was wearing when fighting Python, now torn by tree limbs and the same skin tone as Lester. Must have just returned me to this form. Great.

Before he could nock Chiron opens the door. "Apollo?"

He nods slolwy.

"Lets get you to your cabin to heal you up." Chiron says leading the way. "What happened this time?"

"He wanted to ban me from seeing my children and Percy. Wanted to keep me on Olympus. When i refused he gave me a choice. I said id rather be mortal. Thatd id be more happy here then there..."

Chiron sighs wondering why Zues had to be so cruel about this. He remembers back when Apollo would somtimes raise his kids and how happy he was. Then how mad he seemed when Zues made the rule about keeping distance from demigods.

They get to the Cabin and Will and Nico are there.

"Dad? Gods what happened? Your bleeding red!" Will says quickly leading Apollo to a bed.

"It looks like trees attacked you." Nico says looking him up and down.

"I fell through the trees. And then down the hill." Apollo explains.

Will checks for broken bones but he seems to mostly be bruised and scratched. "Nothings broken. That's good." Will tells Apollo as he cleans the cuts and hands him some ambrosia. "This should help."

Apollo takes a sip of it hopeing it will heal him. He feels it slowly start to take effecy and relaxs a little.

"Your mortal again." Nico points out.

"Dads punishing me for wanting to be here and visit you all." Apollo tells him not sure if he should also talk about the Percy part of it. Why is he sending me here though? Im with my kids as a mortal. That seems pretty. Nice?

Will nods. "Im sorry."

"You have nothing to be sorry for. Im sorry im burd-"

"Your not a burden. Just get some rest dad. Ill come get you when its time for dinner." Will says grinning and him Nico and Chiron leave.

Apollo sighs and stares at the ceiling. Im stuck again as Lester... but i wanted to be mortal. I wanted to feel things and be with my kids. But what will Zues do if i try to pursue Percy? Surely all of this is to good to be true... unless. Zues thi-knows ill mess this up myself...

Apollo tries to take deep breaths and not panic. Maybe sleep will help. Just close your eyes and breath.

Apollo wakes up in a panic and sees Kayla. "Hey dad itd just me. Your ok."

Apollo stares at her feeling physically better than earlier. "Oh. Hey Kayla. How are you?"

"Im ok. Will asked me to come wake you up for dinner. Are you okay? You were having a nightmare."

Apollo smiles a little. "Im ok no need to worry." He tells her as he gets up. "Lets get dinner."

Kayla gives him some clothes and he follows Kayla to the dinning pavilion and to his table.

Apollo quietly eats with them listining to them talk about there days. Then they head over to the campfire and his children lead them in songs but Apollo just listenes staring at the fire trying to see if he can see Hestia, if she is there.

When its time to go back to the cabin Will lends him some clothes again and they all go to sleep.

Apollo is hanging over choas trying to get off the cliff. Need to get up. Get back to Meg. Maybe see Percy again. See my children again please.

He looks up and sees Zues. "Dad?"

Zeus looks down at him and aims a bolt.

Apollo jerks awake and looks around the dark cabin. All of his children sound asleep. And it looks like Nico snuck in as well. He sighs and lays back down staring at the hyacinthus in the window.

Im a mortal again but why am i not happy? I wasnt happy as a god and not here so whats the point. Maybe im just a heartless person who messes everyone up no matter what i am.

Apollo pushes the pillow against his face and cries himself into a dreamless sleep.
