He was really suited for his new role of the demon lord. After Tanjiro made sure that he could stand under sun like a normal human, he went back to the infinity castle and had a meeting with the upper moons.
Since Tanjiro was demon lord, he gave back all the demon's memories. All the demons did not get all their memories back as they refused to except it and decided to still serve Tanjiro. All demons...except Kaigaku.
