Tanjiro became a demon. He went missing after that. It has been a year already. Everybody misses him even until now. Who would have known, they will meet very soon~
After Kaigaku and Zenitsu reunited, Zenitsu brought him to a pillar meeting to meet the others.(It has been a few months so Zenitsu, Inosuke and Kanao became pillars)
Master asked Kaigaku what happened but he kept his mouth shut. He didn't want to tell anyone anyway. He did a good job keeping quiet. He was mysterious that the other pillars just decided not to pester him. Kaigaku now lives with Zenitsu in his mansion.

Kaigaku became the 2nd thunder pillar. The pillars were all having a pillar meeting when suddenly, A demon came into Master's mansion. The demon was about to kill master as it was aiming for his neck but...Boom! The demon was crushed and there was someone on top of him. He had a hoodie on. "So sorry. This demon almost killed you! Well, he is dead now anyway so...yah!" Kaigaku who was in his fighting pose, was rooted to the ground, with Zenitsu asking if he was okay. "K...kamado....." He stuttered. "Oh! Kaigaku, you became a hashira? Good for you. Was a good choice to let you go." The person took of his hoodie.

"Tanjiro!?" All the pillars shouted at one time. Tanjiro walked slowly in front of the pillars and said" I honestly missed you guys. How many ..oh! About 9 months?" Everyone was shocked and surprised but a few pillars walked up to him. Inosuke, Zenitsu and Kanao walked up to him and hugged him and they started crying.
