1. Contemplating

Leah's pov
Leah woke up the the sound of her alarm ringing through her room, as she opened her eyes she was blinded by the sun creeping in through the
curtains that she forgot to close properly last night.
She slowly crawled out of bed and into the bathroom to brush her teeth before going to the kitchen to make her usual breakfast that consisted of a cappuccino and a bagel. As she was eating her breakfast she couldn't help but think about the exciting week ahead, they had training from Monday to Friday, and then Saturday evening she was travelling to SGP with the rest of the lionesses for her first England camp since being passed to play for England.

Just as leah was about to leave the house her phone pinged so she checked it.

Me and a few of the girls are gonna go for a coffee after training, was just wondering if you wanna come ?

Leah couldn't stop her heart from racing, she adored Keira and everting about her but she could never work up the nerve to tell her and especially not after what she's gone through with the beak up with Lucy.
She could feel her heart racing in her chest when she saw Keira's name pop up on the screen and she replied straight away.

Yeah of course I'd love to, where will I meet ye ?

As soon as she sent the message she instantly started overthinking, did she seem too eager because she replied too fast, was it real, was Keira actually inviting her for coffee with friends, but she soon snapped out if it when she saw the time and realised if she didn't leave she would be late and get fine.

On her way to the CFA she got another message from Keira.

Not sure yet but we can talk at the cfa and decide before we leave. X

Leah's heart dropped when she read the message, so much so they she read it 10 times over to make sure she wasn't seeing things. Leah was quiet a romanticist and love meant a lot to her so when she saw that X she instantly started overthinking but was stoped because she had arrived at the cfa.

When she walked in to reception she was greeted by the staff who said hello to her every day and asked her how her family were. Leah's love the Man City environment, it really was a family and a home away from home. Leah went straight to the cafeteria after signing in because that's where everyone usually is in the morning. When she walked in the place was practically empty except for Alex and Steph who were sat at a table in the corner. Leah walked over and greeted the girls. "Morning Girls"
"Mourning Leah" said Alex
"How are you Lee" said Steph
"I'm good, where is everyone, I was rushing cuz I thought I was late"
"Did you not get the message either" said Alex
"What message" you asked
"Training is delayed by a few hours today because Gareth has some important meeting or something" Steph said.
"So what time does it start" you asked the girls
"1pm" said Steph
You look down at your watch and see it 9:55 !!
"So what are yous gonna do now" you asked
"I think I might go home and spend some time with Jack cuz he's leaving tomorrow for a week" said Alex
"I'm gonna go for a walk with Ellen, she's on her way now, we might stop for a coffee somewhere, your more than welcome to join if you want Lee" said Steph
You thought about it for a second and came to the conclusion that it would be a good chance to get some shooting practice before everyone hogs the field so you kindly declined Steph's offer and made your way to the boot room as the girls left the cfa.

Keira's pov
I woke up this morning feeling a lot more refreshed than I have in recent months. I had a good feeling about today and the rest of the week. I had a text on my phone from Steph telling me training was delayed until 1pm today but I didn't let that put me off so I still got up and did my usual morning routine. After tiding up my apartment a little and finishing my breakfast I decided it would be nice for a few of the girls to meet up for coffee today so I sent a message to Georgia, Ellie, Alex, Steph and Demi asking if they wanted to meet up after training. They all agreed and then I decided to send another message to Leah asking her if she wanted to come.

She replied with in a matter of second which I was extremely happy about. I was secretly hoping she would say yes because Leah was someone who I enjoyed spending time with, I never noticed it until a few months ago, it was after me and Lucy broke up, Leah and all the girls were really supportive and made me feel really safe and comforted, but especially Leah . She made me feel like I was somebody again, but I never told anyone because I was afraid people would just be me for catching feeling so quickly after a break up, but it's been 6 months now I just want to move on with my life.

I was bout to leave the house but forgot that I hadn't replied to Leah yet so I did and after contemplating for a few minutes I decided to put and x on the end of the message because quite frankly I like leah and I'm not sure if I want her to know that yet because I don't know if she feels the same, but if this goes wrong then I can just say I was sending it in a friendly was.
After sending the message I got in the car and left for the cfa. It was still only 9:30 but I thought it would be a good opportunity to do some individual practice before people start flooding in. After singing in at the cfa I went straight to the boot room and laced up my boots, I was looking around and saw Leah's bag and her phone at her locker, I knew that she didn't forget her phone because we were texting this morning so it must mean that she is here. I grabbed a bag of footballs and decided to head out to the pitch.

Leah's pov
I've been training now for about 30 minutes but it's been 100% maximum effort and I've decided to stop because I don't want to be too tired before main training later. Just as I'm putting the footballs back in the bag I hear the changing room door slam which means that someone is here, I didn't take much notice and kept collecting the footballs until I heard the most beautiful voice I've ever head, one that I could never deny, I would be able to pin point it anywhere.

"what are you doing here training isn't until 1" Keira shouted at you
"didn't get the message so I got here at usual time, but how come your here if knew that training was delayed" you asked laughing.
"I thought I could get some individual training in before everyone comes, but it looks like someone is already hogging the pitch" Keira said sarcastically
"Actually ginge I was just finished, so it's all yours"you replied while laughing because you know that Keira hates that nick name.
"Are you actually leaving"? Keira asked you as if she was sad.
"Yeah I had planned to why"you asked
"Oh no nothing I was thinking that maybe we could train together, but it's fine if your too tired" Keira said clearly seeing how sweaty you were
"I'll tell you what I'll stay and watch for 10 minutes because I've got to go and ring my mum then because I promised her I'd ring today, is that ok"
" yeah" Keira replied smiling like a kid in a sweet shop.
