6. Morning after

Leah's pov
When I got into bed that night I couldn't go to sleep, no matter what I tried I just couldn't. I also couldn't stop thinking about Keira. I got the urge to go to the toiled so I got up quickly trying to to wake anyone and used the bathroom quickly, when I was walking back to my room I walked past Keira's room and heard her call me
"Leah"
I looked into her room to see her still awake in bed
"Yeah, you alright"
"Yeah, how come your still awake" she asked concerned
"I just can't sleep" I replied
"Same here" she said in a huff
"You sure your ok" I asked again
"Yeah" she replied with a smile
"Ok I'm going to head back to bed, it's freezing"
"Ok, goodnight"
"Night kei"
I walked back to my bedroom but couldn't stop thinking about her. I got into bed but still couldn't fall asleep. After about an hour I heard a nock on my door.
"Yeah" I said to whoever was there
Keira opened the door and looked in "sorry we're you asleep" she asked sadly
"No it's ok, are you alright"
"I just can't sleep" she said a bit sad, not going to lie I was a bit worried
"Come here" I said as I listed up the covers on the side of the bed I wasn't sleeping on indicating for her to get in. She came in and closed the door and walked over and got in, she was facing me and we were just looking into each other's eyes
"You sure your ok" I asked still a bit concerned
"Yeah I'm fine I promise I'm just really tired but can't sleep"
"How come you can't sleep"
"I don't know just thinking"
"About what"
"Just things"
I just laughed
We were both just sat there in a comfortable silence gazing into each other's eyes until I saw a loose piece of hair and I reach hand over to tuck it behind her ear.
"Thanks" she said with a smile
"Your welcome"
I turn around to lye flat on my back and just look at the ceiling. I can feel Keira move closer to me and she put her head on my chest and put one of her arms around me. "Is this ok" she asks
"This is perfect" I reply as I put my arm around her and I can feel her smile against me chest.
After a few minutes of silence Keira says "why is your heart beating so fast"
"I don't know maybe you just make my heart race" I said with a smirk, she lifted her head and looked up at me "shut up" she said sarcastically before putting her head back on my chest, this is the last thing I remember before falling asleep.

I woke up and felt an unusual weight on my chest, before opening my eyes to see that were were in the exacts same position that we fell asleep in. I reached over to my bedside table to get my phone, when I check the time it says 10:15, shit everyone's probably already up. Keira then stated stirring and looked up to see me "morning" she said
"Morning, how you feeling"
"Not great" she looked up at me and smiled
"What you smiling at"
"Nothing"
"Go on tell me" I said trying to get it out of her
She moved around and rested her chin on my chest so she was still looking at me "you have a cute morning voice" she said with a smile
I couldn't help but smile back. "What time is it" she asked, "10:15" she looked at me shocked "are you serious Lee"
"Yeah why"
"Because that means that Steph is probably already up and has seen that I'm not in my own room" she said sounding really worried. I reached my hand down on put it on the side of her cheek looking in her eyes "relax kei, she's not going to be mad, we're two adults who are well capable of making sensible decisions. I mean I don't regret anything that happened, so you"?
"No, I mean we didn't do anything only sleep"
"Exactly, so relax"
"Ok, should we get up"
"Probably, I can hear plates clanging so someone is probably making food" I said while laughing
"Of course, only thinking about your stomach" Keira said sarcastically while we got out of bed. I sat on the edge of the bed for a second and Keira was walking to the door with her hands in the air stretching, her hair was in a messy bun and her t-shirt had lifted a little bit and I could see a sliver of her tanned skin over the hem of her shorts, I couldn't help but smile.
She looked back at me and smiled
" what you looking at"
"Nothing, you just look really good in the morning" I said laugh.
"Shut up, and hurry up before all the foods gone"
We both walked into the kitchen and seen all the girls sitting at the table and Steven was just putting breakfast up,
"I was just about to come up and call yous two, I thought you'd never get up" Steph said with a smirk
"Where did you go, you weren't in your room this morning" Georgia asked Keira
I could see that Keira got very uncomfortable and didn't know what to say so I piped up
"We we're both awake early this morning so I asked her to come into my room and help me plan a surprise visit for my family" I said trying to change the subject, thankfully it worked as Georgia started a different conversation, Keira looked at me and mouthed "thank you" and I just squeezed her hand under the table. I looked up and locked eyes with Steph who just had a smirk on her face and I could help but smile back.
We all ate our breakfast and made jokes about last night. In that moment I turned and looked at Keira and saw her laughing and joking and smiling and I realised right there in that moment that I couldn't be happier.
