WARMTH PART 2

At that moment, he parted his lips from mine. He stepped away and removed his hands from my body. I look forward to his touch but feel nothing. I stand alone in the middle of the crowd. I slowly reach for the bandage and slowly take it off unsure of the move. I take off my blindfold and the bright lights flash on me. I squint, raise my palm at the level of my forehead, and cast a shadow over my eyes. I look around, and everyone I see is dancing and having fun. They don't pay attention to me. I squeeze the bandage in my hand looking for the mysterious man.

,,Andrea!" The loud shout of my name brought it back to reality. I turned to the exclamation and noticed Melany running toward me. She gave me a worried look as she made her way through the crowd. I am dazed and barely aware of where I am. Everything that will happen around me is just in the awareness of what just happened. Still your lips. I can't believe it was such a good feeling.
