Jungkook was on his way back to his home, in a cab, crying to himself, without making any noise, his tears dropping from his eyes, as he thought back on what happened.
Today was the last class for this week, and he'd be facing the weekend tomorrow, and he had a plan on where to begin his work.
However, it all went in vain, as in their last class there was a surprise quiz and Jungkook got the last ranking in it, since the results were posted on their cram school's group today itself, people looked at him oddly, and he tried to ignore it all. Infact, one of the teachers even embarrassed him jokingly, but Jungkook felt worse if possible. Only last night, his mother had spoken to him in anger saying that he couldn't do anything simple. Every word he'd be spoken to was etched in his brain and he couldn't help but get reminded of everything once he cried, making his tears neverending.
The cab dropped him in front of his building, but he knew he couldn't face his mother and so, he walked to the nearest empty garden, and sat down on a bench, looking around and wearing his hood so that no one could recognize him. He texted his mother telling her that the cab was stuck in the traffic and that he'd be late, and told her not to worry. She told him it was okay and to take care, and once he kept the phone aside, he clutched the bench's ends, sobbing as softly and as hard at the same time, as possible.
That was what he hated, whenever he cried, he'd cry remembering all the stuff that has happened in his life, and would feel overwhelmed, all at once. He hated the fact that he had no one to hold him because right now, all he wanted was a comforting hug.
Jungkook looked up at the sky, his palms digging inside the concrete of the stone bench he was sitting on, him biting his own lip tightly to prevent himself from screaming out loud, and his eyes pouring out the pain he'd been feeling since the past few days.
Jungkook sat there, he didn't know for how long, and that's when he felt something behind him.
He turned around and gasped, as a man was smirking at him.
He knew at once that he needed to run, and so, that's what he did, at least that's what he was about to do when the man held him tightly, and he felt his blood run cold as all the possibilities of wrong things happening to him began to cloud his mind.
He tried to jerk off the man's hand, but couldn't, and the man soon enough began to push him against the nearest tree, Jungkook trying his best, and repeating the same words, 'No-no! Please, leave me! Please!'
However, as the man was about to grab his face, he felt the man's grip loosen and he looked up to see a masked male, punching the man.
'Stop taking advantage of the weak! You asshole! Go or I'll call the police!'
The man ran away, and finally, the masked male looked towards Jungkook who was hiccupping.
'Hey, are you okay? Can I help you, in any way?'- The man spoke in a deep, raspy voice.
Jungkook looked back at him and then shook his head frantically, walking over to the bench, taking out a handkerchief from his pocket and his water bottle, before wiping his face completely, pumping some water, and taking a few deep breaths.
Jungkook's phone rang as he looked at the caller id, closed his eyes, coughed a bit, cleared his throat, and picked up the call.
'Hello?'
'Yes mom, I'm here, just entering the building...'
'No don't worry, I'm coming up, you can go to sleep.'
Jungkook cut the call, checked his eyes on the camera, picked up his bag, looked at himself from top to bottom, and fixed his hoodie, before walking towards his building, which was just behind the garden.
As he sprinted towards it, he didn't notice the male who had saved him was looking at him all this while.
The male sighed and then walked back to his own home, the thoughts of the mysterious bunny-faced boy not leaving his mind.
