Eriol, Tomoyo, Chiharu, and Takashi escape the ruined Sequoia Apartments, and reunite with Sakura, Syaoran, Rika, Kai, and Evan.

Sakura: Are you okay?

Eriol: *Breathing* Yeah. No worries. *Notices Evan* Who are you?

Evan: I'm Evan. You must be the other friends I've been hearing about?

Eriol: Yeah. I'm Eriol. She's Tomoyo, she's Chiharu, and he's Takashi.

Syaoran: *Checks a nearby path* Coast looks clear. Let's go.

~Down The Path~

Chiharu: Why did everything change like that?

Eriol: I don't know. All we know is that we solved that puzzle and everything went crazy. So, starting now, I think we should be more careful with any more puzzles that we encounter.

Kai: *Spots a girl around their age reading something* What...?

*The others soon noticed too*

Evan: Hey.

Girl: *Turns to them* What?

Evan: What's a girl like you doing in a place like this?

Girl: Curiosity, I guess. Why do you ask? Is that why you're here?

Sakura: S... Something like that.

Eriol: *Spots a letter in her hand* What are you reading?

Girl: It's none of your business. *Puts it away* You never loved Sophie anyway. *Gets up* See ya, Hiiragizawa.

Eriol: Wait! How do you know me? And how do you know Sophie?

Girl: *Leaves*

Evan: Who's Sophie?

Eriol: ... I'll tell you on the way.

~Park~

As Eriol finishes with his story, the group arrives at a park near the lake.

Kai: *Reads a sign* "Blackwater Park". That's one of Sophie's special places.

Evan: Is it the one she wrote about?

Rika: I'm not sure.

Syaoran: *Spots a lone woman* Hey!

*The woman turns to him*

Syaoran: Who are you?

Woman: Is there someone you're looking for?

Sakura: *Approaches them with the others* I-I'm sorry about my boyfriend. We're just on the edge.

Eriol: You look like her.

Woman: *Turns to Eriol* Like who?

Eriol: This... woman. Her name is Sophie. *Pulls out the old picture of Sophie* You could be her twin of some sort. Your face, the way you're talking... Just your hair and clothing are different.

Woman: My name is Sophia. It's close to Sophie. I don't look like a ghost, do I?

Eriol: Well, right now, we're talking about a literal "ghostwrite". *Pulls out the letter in question and shows it to her* Do you think a ghost could write this?

Sophia: Good question.

Eriol: *Puts them away* She said she's waiting at their "special place", but I don't think this park is that place.

Sophia: Well, is there another "special place"?

Tomoyo: Come to think of it, we've heard of a hotel at a lake.

Sophia: The Green Lake Hotel. It's still there. I could show you the way to it.

Eriol: You want to come with us?

Sophia: I'll catch up. Don't wait.

~Streets~

Evan: Well, that woman was... pretty pleasant.

Chiharu: She's also kind of sneaky in a way. There's something about her, but I just can't quite put my finger on it.

Syaoran: *Spots a group of Lyfigs* Speaking of fingers... *Aims at them* We've got company. *Shoots a chunk of the crowd* Come on! *Leads the others away.

Evan: *Spots a pipe on the ground and grabs it* Better bring this.

*Meanwhile*

~Parker's Bowl-A-Rama~

The girl from earlier is talking to a man who looks like an older version of Evan.

Girl: So, what did your son do? Murder? Manslaughter?

Man: No. Nothing like that.

Girl: So, he's just gutless.

Man: Why do you say that?

Girl: ... Well, you have a point. I guess I would run away too. I thought you said the cops were after him.

Man: No. He just got scared and ran. I don't know why the cops would go after him.

Girl: Well, why don't you tell the cops about it?

Man: The cops would find it hard to believe in a child's testimony. Anyways, have you found that woman yet? What was her name?

{Later}

*The kids make it to safety on time*

Sakura: *Breathing* We made it.

Eriol: Good.

Evan: *Notices the man* Daddy?

Mr. Schultz: *Notices Evan* Evan? Where have you been?

Evan: *Hugs him* I was at the apartment building. I was trying to find something to prove my innocence.

Mr. Schultz: Never mind, son. *Breaks the hug* We'll figure it out. *Notices the Star Alliance* Friends of yours?

Evan: Yeah. I met them back at the apartment.

Chiharu: *Notices the girl* Hey! Wait!

Girl: Bye! *Escapes*

Kai: We have to go after her!

Mr. Schultz: You mean Luna? Why?

Syaoran: We'll explain on the way.

Mr. Schultz: Actually, you can go.

Evan: What?

Tomoyo: What are you gonna do?

Mr. Schultz: I'll go find some supplies for us. It should help us survive.

Takashi: Okay. Take care then.

Rika: We'll meet up at the Green Lake Hotel.

~Outside~

The kids encounter an out-of-breath Sophia outside.

Eriol: Did you see a girl pass by?

Sophia: *Breathing* Yeah. I went after her, but she was too fast for me. Are we going after her?

Sakura: We have to. She has something we need.

Syaoran: *Spots a glimpse of Luna heading down the back alley* There! Down that back alleyway!

~Back Alleyway~

Syaoran: Where'd she go?

Takashi: You said she went this way.

Rika: *Spots a door* Maybe, through here. *Tries to open it* Or not. It's locked.

Evan: *Pulls out a paperclip* I'm actually good at picking locks. *Picks the lock, carefully, yet quickly* Try it now.

Rika: *Opens the door successfully*

*The kids and Sophia enter through another backdoor, into a diner, and through its front door, back into the streets*

~Streets~

Syaoran: I don't understand. She went this way, didn't she?

Sophia: *Spots Luna* There! She's heading into that hospital.

*They head into the hospital*
