chapter 7: time skip. mission to land of waves.

After graduating the shinobi academy.
Mind you naruto had to hold back on his strength a bit. Team placement was assigned and the newly instated Team 11 was as follows.

Sensei: Hanna inuzuka.

Gennin

Kiba inuzuka.
Naruto Uzumaki namikaze.
Hinata hyuga.

Their job was to assist Team 7.

Leader
Kakashi hatake.

Gennin

Sakura haruno.
Ino yamanaka.
Sasuke Uchiha.

Naruto had a secret that only Kiba and Hanna knew about. That secret was that naruto is in fact a werewolf.

The inugami tooth hanging from the seal collar around his neck was what let him resist turning at the sight of a full moon while still gaining all his werewolf like abilities.

Having lycan blood in his veins naruto realized he was an excellent tracker. Better then most inuzuka. he could see hear and smell farther and better then even tsume inuzuka. All the inuzuka hounds practically bowed before him.

His howling was able to be heard for miles every dog in konoha be they inuzuka or stray hounds responded to him as their alpha.

Even Kiba and akamaru were somewhat affected by it. But Kiba would never admit to it even if it was true.

The two teams weren't even that far from the village when suddenly naruto's sense of smell kicked in as he said.

"Guys be careful. I smell trouble.
The rogue kind. Salt water and poison.
Obviously kiri shinobi.

Their disguising themselves with genjutsu but they can't erase their smell. Their planning to ambush us up ahead."

And Kakashi said.

"Hmm...based on your description naruto it seems like their the demon Brothers of the hidden mist village.

We should proceed with caution.
Especially since their known to be subordinates of legendary swordsman of the mist zabuza momochi.

I'll take point from here and the rest of you can....wait...where's naruto???."

Hanna then said.

"Oh he went to fetch the demon Brothers while you were rambling on about how your going to steal everyone's glory and give all the credit to Sasuke for the achievement. Kiba and akamaru followed after him to provide backup.

They make a pretty good team Kakashi trust me. Their like blood hounds.
Once they start tracking someone or something they pursue them until they are dead...or captured.

Oh look here they come now. See what did I tell you???. Perfect team."

Naruto and Kiba were then seen by Kakashi and the others dragging a pair of beaten and bruised demon Brothers who were tied up with ninja wire.

Their arms and legs seemed broken almost as if tortured for information.

Naruto and Kiba then dropped the demon Brothers at kakashi's feet and said.

"We managed to get some information out of them before bringing them back.

Turns out your half right Kakashi Sensei.
They are working for zabuza. But zabuza has an accomplice with him.

And their all hired by one man. Tell us tazuna.Who's Gato and why does he want you dead???.

If you don't we can do 2 things.Report back to the village and your protection duties would be given to a more qualified team.
