"C'mon, Bruce. What if they are torturing the kids in there? Look at the building, Its HUGE! We need a plan" Clark said eyeing the huge flashy tower infront of them up and down.
"You ever heard of the Wayne tower, Clark?"
"Bruce. We don't know what kind of people they are. Look at their name,'The Avengers'.That is defenitely underwhelming"
"I'm going in" Bruce said as he walked towards the entrance of the huge tower, leaving a glaring Clark behind. Well, that was more like a boy scout glare, whatever.
It was unlikely of Bruce to go in somewhere without a plan. And now, he is doing just that. It wasn't an hour ago they found out where the kids are, and he is already rushing in. That's what's bothering Clark. Bruce is so impatient to see his kids and that got the man blind. Worst, there is nothing he'd do to stop him.
Clark unwillingly followed Bruce to the entrance, only to be stopped by two armed men.
As Bruce opened his mouth to speak, Clark stopped him and started speaking.
"Can we speak to, um...The Avengers?"
"Is Mr. Stark expecting you?" One of the men asked, eying the two of them suspiciously.
"Uh... Yes?"
Still watching them, he put his hand to his ear and spoke. "Mr. Stark? Were you expecting two men with very identical looks, black hair, blue eyes, tall, well b-- Yes sir" the man eyed Clark and then Bruce. "We are asked to 'shoo you away', please leave. You are not allowed in there" "You imbe--" Bruce was gonna hit the guy, but Clark stopped him."Uh it's okay. We--Hn-- We are leaving" Clark struggled as he held Bruce, careful not to apply so much pressure so he wouldn't break him. He dragged an angry Bruce to a quieter place.
"Bruce, what's your problem?!" He yelled at the scowling man.
"I need to get my kids to safety. They are in danger"
"Yeah and you just ruined our only way"
Bruce wanted to punch Clark. But he knew Clark was right. What was he thinking?! Also, he wouldn't want to be crippled for the rest of his life by punching Clark.
He eyed the tower and smirked as a thought struck him.
"Y'know Clark, you're right. Since I've blown our only chance, you ready to take a flight?"
Clark looked at Bruce confused. "What?"
"I've got some grappling to do. Talk to you later!" With that, Bruce ran towards the tower where there was a balcony on a few storeys above.
