I'm surprised my head hasn't been torn off by now. Usually I would've been laying, bleeding out on the floor.

I looked around nervously as I tried to think of why I even wanted the human to stay alive 'it was just a gut feeling I got that told me to not eat Y/N...Think of something, let the words come out!' I finally looked at Poppy and mentally prepared my speech "When I first saw the human, i could sense something different about her. I think she can help set us free." I said. Poppy had a look of thought. I close my eyes shut and waited for something bad to happen for even suggesting to keep the human here "Perhaps she could be the answer to freeing us" I heard Poppy say. I opened my eyes to look at her in surprise that my speech thing worked "She can stay and help us. I will meet her later. But you know once she finds out, your human will die" I felt myself tense at the mention of... her. I could loose Y/N to her...no. I couldn't let her hurt Y/N. I wouldn't let her do it. And she won't, I'll make sure of it.... "No she won't, if SHE touches Y/N....I'll kill her." I said a bit more aggressively than I ment to. Poppy looked surprised, before calming "Wow, the humans really grown on you. Perhaps she IS worth the risk. Maybe I'll get as close with her as you have and grow attached to her. Maybe, just maybe. We could all be friends.." Poppy said, looking at the table gloomily. I knew what she ment. We've never been aloud to be friends with the humans. She, always said we could never trust them. This changed everything. Our first human friend. Poppy looked back up at me with hope "I really do hope she can save us." I stared for a few more seconds before answering "Yeah...
Me, too" I whispered the same thing I had said to Poppy just 5 minutes ago while walking in the hall. I was going to Kissy's room, knowing that's where Y/N would be. I have to make sure she stays safe.....
(Sorry if it wasn't long enough, I was just working on this and wanted to save more for the next chapter. I'll make the next one a long chapter to make up for making short ones all the time. Love you guys)
