Having returned to the new land, the girl began waiting and waiting with hope never wavering that the villagers—her family—would one day reunite with her. During that time, the girl managed to construct a small structure for herself at the highest point on a cliff that overlooked the land. From that high point, the girl had an especially great view of the rosy pink sunrise over the vast sea.

On one of her many walks about the forest, the girl found a single, lone flower of an almost otherworldly white color. The flower swayed in the passing breeze of the gentle wind, as if beaconing the girl closer. Empathetic to the flower's loneliness, the girl reached a tender hand to softly caress the flower's delicate petals.

However, unaware of the sharp thorns directly below, the girl pricked her finger, a few drops of her crimson blood landing on the soil below. Though in pain, the girl simply smiled. Her heart still full of love and hope, the girl sang for the flower and for the future. Finally knowing selfless love, the lone, icy white flower turned a comforting rose color like that of a sunrise.

A sunrise, really? No, it was more like the color of a sunset...
