Chapter 12 ~ Why?¿

A/N: I'm currently at my friends house...we should be asleep but I can't sleep so I'm gonna write this. Yup

Shaynah's POV
When I get next door Brianna and Rena are sitting on their laptops studying.
"Hey who was it?" Rena asks not looking up.
"It was Jacob Mammoli and he wants to see us." I say not stopping. I throw her phone back at her. "Come one I'lol explain on the at." I say as we exit.
When we get in the car I can tell she is impatient.
"Okay what's up with Jacob?!" She finally asks.
"Okay so Jacob's girlfriend started abusing him and he really needs our help right now." I start.
"Okay why is she?"
"Apparently her parents said she couldn't keep a boyfriend so she stayed w him to show her parents and she started to abuse him and said 'I can't be with someone who makes me look bad.'"
"Is it about is leg?"
"Yah. She is taking a belt and whipping him in the leg w it."
"That's awful!"
"Yah he was crying on the phone."
"Dear god..."
We were pretty much silent the rest of the way there. When we got there Jacob was sitting on the couch still partially crying with the Tv on some random channel.
"Hey what's up?" Rena asks as we sit down on either side of him.
"I-it hurts." He says looking at us. "I can't bear with it anymore."
"Don't tell me what I think your saying." I say starting to get worried.
"No I'm not going to suicide, but I still wanna just get rid of this painful and ugly leg!" He says starting to raise his voice.
"Calm down Jacob. There's nothing to do unless you wanna amputate your leg but that would probably make things worse." Rena says.
"True." He responds. "THIS PROBABLY WOULVE NEVER HAPPENED IF I HADENT BEEN SO STUPID!!" He screams as he try's to get up and walk away but he's in too much pain to walk. "um can you help me upstairs."
"Sure." Rena and I say together. We get up and help him walk upstairs. We lie him down in his bed and the door bell rings.
"I'll get it." Rena says.
Rena's POV

"I'll get it."
I walk down stairs and open the door. There's a girl there with long blonde hair.
"May I help you?" I say.
"Yah where's Jacob? I'm his girlfriend Marina."
"You...YOURE THE IDIOT WHOS ABUSING JACOB!" I say getting really mad now.
"Um no I'm not." She says all sassy. I hate her guts.
"What's going on?" Shaynah says coming down stairs. "whose those girl?"
"Jacob's girlfriend." I say
"You're lucky I don't just call the police on you." Shaynah says.
"Who are you guys anyway?" Marina says.
"We are his best friends and I'm a black belt so I can kick your butt." Shaynah says. She usually doesn't bring it up but now that she has this might get ugly. All of a sudden Marina drops her purse and tries to barge through the door but we hold her back. Shaynah does one of her karate take-down moves and she sits on her. I get up and call 911. While we wait I bring Jacob downstairs and sit him on the couch. The police come and take Marina away.
"Thanks guys." Jacob says. He gets up to hug us.
"Woah Jacob your standing!!" I say.
"Yah I guess seeing Marina taken away brought the feeling back to my leg!"
"I'm so happy! It's been fun but me and Rena have to get back to campus. School tomorrow." Shaynah says.
"Kay thanks again. Love you guys." he says hugging us.
"Love you too Jacob." We says as we leave.
"Well that happened." Shaynah says laughing as we leave. This will be a day I won't forget.
