Chapter 6

Evan's POV

Wow Taissa was so beautiful...she continued to walk and I froze. When she said the word 'girlfriend' I flashed back to reality. I have a girlfriend! I am so stupid. I totally forgot. How could I forget? She works with me! She plays the maid, Moira O'Hare. I pushed my thoughts away when Taissa asked me about my past. I told her but left out the part about my girlfriend. I didn't want to ruin things so I decided not to tell her yet, not that I had a chance with her anyway. She started to talk about herself so I smiled but that quickly faded when she said her age. She was 16! Fucking 16! I had zero chance with her now. I was 23 so she wasn't of legal age to date me. I had to wait two years! She must have realized I was upset because she frowned and started packing her things. "Wait, Taissa!"

Taissa's POV

Evan obviously thought something was wrong with what I said. I can tell. I was upset so I just decided to leave. I grabbed all my things and got up. I heard evan tell me to wait but I just kept walking. I was about to open the door when someone grabbed me and pulled me to the side. I wanted to scream but I couldn't. I got dragged out the back door. I turned around and froze.
