~Tori POV~

'A very dangerous mission huh?'
I thought as i walked past a small village.

'I am assigned with a pillar so i should be careful'

'I wonder who it is' i think as i walk past a ramen stall.

'Whoa who is that?'
I walk closer to a food stall and see a certain ravenette, eating salmon daikon.

"Oh hi Giyuu" i greet him. He freezes and turns away from me.

"....hi.."

"What is our mission about?"
"We're supposed to investigate an abandoned shrine" he responds as he finishes his food and pays the bill.

"Shall we go?" Giyuu nods and stands up.

~3rd person POV~

The duo walks to the shrine through the dark. They stop right outside the shrine and Tori shrinks a bit.

'Wahh! This place is so eerie! I'm scared!' Tori thinks. Giyuu looks alarmed but goes in either way.

Tori then hesitantly goes after him.

~Again, Tori POV~

I suddently slip and fall.

'This is so embarrassing! Please someone kill me!'

"... are you okay?" i hear Giyuu ask, but before i can look up to him, i stop feeling ground beneath me.

Is this some demon blood art?
I hope not.

I am falling for quite a while now.
How deep even is this?

I look below and see a field with flowers approaching rapidly.

In no time, i fell onto the
-quite good looking- field of flowers with a sickening crack.

"Ahh! this shit fucking hurts! what the hell! even tho i'm a demon, i feel like i just spit out my soul into the atmosphere!"

And how am i gonna help Giyuu?
Well, i shouldn't dwell on it too much.

I slowly sit up. I look at my surroundings and realize, that i'm in the... Ubuyashiki estate? Huh?

"Hey, you there!" I hear someone shout.
"Intruder, there is an intruder!"

I look on my hands and see, that they're all bloody.
Some strands of my hair fall on my hands.

My hair is... white? How the hell?
Someone runs to me in speed of light and tries to cut off my neck.

"How did you get here, demon?"
Uzui?!

"Wahh! why are you trying to kill me?! I'm Mizu Tori, are you guys blind or just stupid?!"

"Mizu-san...?" He drags me by my collar to the sun and makes a shock expression.

"Weren't you supposed to be on a mission with Giyuu? Also, why the heck is your hair white? You also have some weird star marks on your cheeks.."

"I was, but some blood demon art teleported me here. And, i have WHAT on my cheeks?!?"

"Hey calm down um, i will call Shinobu for you" he tries to reassure me, but he only ends up making me wail like a baby.

When Uzui leaves, i grip kakushi's pants and start crying about my injuries.

He slaps my head and starts to scold me.

Bad timing.

Because Shinobu was alredy walking there, and after she saw that, her expression changed into a horrific one.

I prayed for the kakushi.
