Chapter 12

ELAINE'S P.O.V

I was playing on my laptop while munching M&M's chocolate. They are my favorite because they are colorful and cute. I think it was past 6 in the evening when I heard a knock on the door.

"Oh Lee...what brought you here?" I asked. "I was thinking maybe we could hangout or something? Just like the old times?" He replied back with a big smile. "Oh, cool! Come in." I muttered. 

"M&M's huh?" He said pointing at the chocolates on the table. "Uhuh! Want some?" I asked. He giggled. "Hey look!" He said getting a piece of M&M's. He tossed it in the air and caught it with his mouth. He winked at me. "You can juggle now?" I asked in amusement. "Yeah. Thanks to Harry." He replied back.

"Have you eaten your dinner yet?" He asked. "Nope. No food yet." I replied back smiling. He stood up in the sofa and offered his hand to me. "Come on!" He said. Without hesitation, I held his hand. We went to the kitchen.

LIAM'S P.O.V

I was cooking Chicken noodle soup. "WOW! Smells good Liam." She muttered. "Taste it." I said handing her spoon. "Uhm.... Great." She shrieked. She set the table. "You are really scared of spoons, aren't you?" She said giggling. I just giggled with her. There's something in her laugh that makes me laugh too. We were really enjoying especially me. I feel amazing right now. It's a s if nothing happened between us. This is us two years ago.

After eating, we washed the dishes. "Liam" She muttered. I looked at her and she suddenly put soapsuds on my nose. "Elaine!" I said smiling. "WHAT?" She replied back giggling. "Take this!" I muttered putting soapsuds on her cheeks with both of my hands. "You're unfair!" She replied back wiping the bubbles with her shirt. We had a great time playing soapsuds just like little kids do.

"Liam, I'll just get something in my room." She said. I nodded. After few minutes, she already came back wearing another shirt. "Your shirt is wet Liam. Change it." She muttered handling me a shirt. "Hey, you still have my shirt huh?" I asked smiling. "Of course." She exclaimed.

She plugged her iPod on the speaker. The song being played was Domino. We went dancing. She held my hand. "Lee, turn around!" She muttered. "What? I'm taller than you!" I replied back. She stood up on the sofa. "Better?" She asked. "Give me your hand....Alright...Turn around Liam." She said laughing making me spin around with her hand. She's so sweet! We were doing random dancing. I can't stop laughing being with her. My belly almost aches because of too much laughing. She was still the Elaine that I've loved before.

We dropped our body on the sofa tired of dancing. "I had fun Lee, thanks!" She said smiling at me. Her phone rang. She stood up and grabbed it on the table. "Hey Zayn..........Oh yeah! I'm fine......Alright..Goodnight to Zayny!" She said with a smile on her face. Damn! I'm jealous. It hurts me seeing her happy knowing that I was not the reason behind those smiles.

ELAINE'S P.O.V

I was done talking with Zayn when, "Elaine, how are you and Zayn?" Liam asked sitting on the sofa. "Uhm..we're fine Lee. Better." I replied back smiling. "Have you moved on?" He asked while standing up. I looked at him shocked. I didn't answer at once. "Please don't Elaine." He added tears forming in his eyes. "I do---don---don't want to lo---lose you El...I still love you! I was so stupid I didn't tell you this before!" He muttered tears in his face. Did I hear him right? WOW! He still loves me. He still do. I came infront of him. "Don't cry Liam." I muttered wiping his tears. "I'm so sorry!" He exclaimed hugging me. "I love you too Liam." I said now crying in tears of joy. This night, my prayers were answered that we would still get back together.

Lesson learned? Don't give up so easily. If the person is yours, he/she will come back and still hold you in his/her arms.
