Harry's POV ( Friday)

It had been 5 days since Ron stopped talking to us and I only saw him in class, the Great Hall, and in the hallways.

"Boo" a familiar voice from behind me said.

"Hey Ginny. I was wondering if I could talk to you in the Room of Requirement after classes?" I asked.

"Oh sure. I got a run but I will see you then."

"Ok" I really was dreading breaking up with her. It's not like I still liked her or anything. Instead it was because I really don't want to hurt her.

Time skip to after classes

*Outside the ROR*

As I was about to walk into the ROR, I saw Draco. He seemed a little distressed, looking at a piece of paper in his hands. I decided to stop and talk to him.

"Hey Draco" I said walking up to him.

" 'Sup Harry" he responded. His face brightened.

"What's wrong?" I asked, motioning to the paper in his hands.

"Stupid Snape gave me an A on our essay!" Draco complained. But I didn't see the problem. I mean, after all, an A stands for Acceptable.

"So?" I asked.

"SO!?!?!?!? What do you mean SO??? SOOO, I've never gotten an A before! I used to only get O's and E's. What am I gonna do??" Draco ranted. "What did you get on it?"

All of a sudden I felt a little guilty because I had actually gotten an O on mine.

"Ummmm...I can't remember." I lie.

"Harry," Draco started, "you are a terrible liar. I just want you to know that." He told me before we both started laughing.

"Hey, I gotta go talk to Ginny, but I'll see you in the dorms later." I told him. Draco's face darkened the second I mentioned her. I didn't understand why, and before I got a chance to ask she appeared right next to me.

"Speak of the devil and she will appear" Draco muttered under his breath. While Ginny didn't seem to notice I sure did. "Alright bye Harry. Weasley." After he left we walked into the ROR.

"So Ginny," I started, but was cut off by Ginny smashing her lips against mine. When we had first started dating I would feel butterflies and like I could fly, but I felt nothing. I pulled away after the first few seconds.

"Baby, is everything okay? You've seemed a little...distant since the war."

"Gin, let's sit down." We opened the door to the ROR which revealed a simple interior of what looked like a living room. Once we sat down, I took Ginny's hand in mine.

"What's wrong, Harry? You're starting to scare me."

"We have to break up."

I could see as the faint smile Ginny had, vanished. All the color drained from her face, leaving her looking like a red headed Corpse Bride. She looked confused and hurt, like she couldn't understand why this was happening.

"W-why?" she asked, I could barely hear her.

"Ginny, I love you. But just, not in that way anymore. And it's not fair to you to be in a relationship with someone who doesn't feel the same."

"But after-after everything that's happened you still can't be with me?" Her voice was starting to rise in anger.

"I'm so sorry, Ginny."
