"Steven?" Nora tilted her head as Steven went completely blank, "Are you alright?"
Steven had fainted and woke to Nora leaning over him. He was so startled that he sat upright, and their foreheads crashed together. Nora stumbled back into her seat, and Steven rubbed his forehead in pain.
"So that's pain." Nora mumbled.
"It sucks." Steven groaned, "Sorry for fainting."
"It fine. I get that this is a lot to take in."
"So can you maybe explain the whole my gem half being my sister thing?" Steven sat upright in his seat, trying his best to stay calm and collected.
"Sure." Nora smiled, excited to share this with Steven, "You see, we had one mind before White separated us. Afterwards, my own consciousness started to separate from yours, and I started growing my own personality. In a way, we're like a fusion." Nora's eyes sparkled as she explained, obviously loving this opportunity to share something about herself with Steven.
"So, why'd you choose to go by Nora?"
"I liked the name. I also kinda wanted to be like your sibling now that we're not one mind anymore." Nora blushed a bit, "Do I...look okay? I really wanted us to look like siblings."
Steven looked at Nora, and felt a smile crack across his face, "You look great." Even though he'd just found out about Nora, Steven felt a sibling bond already starting to form between them.
"Thanks. Do you think everyone else will like me?"
"Of course!" Steven thought about it, "After the shock where's off."
Nora giggled, "True. This isn't exactly your typical mind blower, even by Crystal Gem standards."
The two laughed for a good minute, then looked each other in the eyes. Even though they'd only officially been introduced minutes before, they both felt like they knew each other better than anyone could hope to. All those years connected by Steven's gem showed as they sat their, feeling amazingly comfortable with each other.
"I'm glad we could finally meet, Nora." Steven grinned, "It'll be nice having a...a sister."
Nora took Steven's hand, "I promise, I'm gonna be the best sister in the universe!"
