Omniscient POV

Jay wrote in his notebook, his glasses sitting on his nose so he could see better.

His phone dinged meaning he got a message. It was Rome who took his number later yesterday.

From Rome:
{I'm bored asf}
{Wyd}

Jay actually found himself being happy when he saw the message. He took Rome as someone he could stay friends with if Rome didn't mind that Jay was a quite person.

From Jay:
{I'm chilling}
From Rome:
{Wanna pick up sum to eat?}

Rome nervously waited for a reply seeing the bubbles appear and disappear. He took the excuse of wanting to get food again but he really just wanted to spend time with Jay.

From Jay:
{Aight.}
From Rome:
{Send me your address and I'll pick you up}

Jay sent him the address of a store nearby that he would walk to and then he put the notebook down on his couch to start putting on his clothes.

It didn't take long until he was in black pants and a hoodie even though it was very hot in Miami.

He sprayed some cologne and drank some water. He then headed to the store slowly.

From Rome:
{I'm here?}
{It's a store}

Jay walked faster and when he got there he spotted a car randomly sitting infront of the parking spaces.

He headed towards it happy when Rome rolled his window down revealing himself.

"You scared Ima rob you or sum shit?!", Rome yelled making Jay chuckle.

"Ion give niggas my addy when I meet 'em.", Jay knew what some people were on and he didn't need that negativity around him.

Rome nodded understandingly. "I'm paying today. Youn gotta worry 'bout that.", Jay said considering Rome paid yesterday.

"Awe thanks. I wanted to talk to you first though.", Rome said as he drove into a parking space turning the car off.

Jay noticed the change in the mood waiting for Rome to say what he had to say. Whatever he did say Jay was sure he would be understanding.

There was silence first, both of them staring at the people outside of the car. "So.. I been figured this shit out in high school. If you ain't cool with it that's aight but I feel like I wanna tell you since we building a friendship right now.", Rome rambled.

It seemed like that's what he did when he was nervous. Jay stayed quiet letting him open up and talk.

"When I say this please don't start punching me or anything. I can drop you off at home or you can just leave but please-", Jay cut him off.

"Ian gone put my hands on you.". Whatever it was couldn't be that bad to the point where Jay Critch was willing to punch you.

"Okay.. I'm gay.", Rome looked at him waiting for a reaction but Jay kept his same chill expression.

"I thought it was something bad bruh. That ain't bad at all.", Jay shrugged making Rome smile.

"Oh- uhm..", Rome picked up the camera infront of him deleting all the footage from a few seconds ago.
