Promises are lies

Promises are lies.
As much as I saw,
People do promises just for temporary happiness.
But they are meant to be broken.

I'm tired of listening.
Scared of believing.
Why don't they stop lying?
Being hopeless is better than being hopeful.

It hurts,
Seriously, it hurts a lot.
Promises give hope & reality gives heartbreak.
If you can't fulfil.
Just make it clear.
So that it doesn't become my worst fear...
