Path of Love

Love itself is perfect.
Nothing seems right or wrong.
Actions speak louder than words.
Which I felt in someone's eyes.
The way he looked at me, made me weak.
My heart could sense the feelings that he can't speak.
But I couldn't understand what my heart feels.
Maybe the feelings were mutual, but our differences were the barrier.
At last, I broke his heart, & I broke him.

Once in my life, I had this journey.
A journey which I never thought I'd take.
A journey to trust & love.
A journey that I know I shouldn't take
Once in my life, I made a mistake.
To make it right, I need to break.
Someone's heart whose love won't fade.

In his little way, he makes people laugh.
I still consider him my best friend.
But I guess he doesn't.
His feelings overpowered our friendship.
But I can't even complain.
There's still the guilt alive in me,
That doesn't let me live in peace.

The path of love is never easy.
It comes with pain & sacrifice,
Happiness as well as sadness.
But the journey is always more beautiful,
than the destination.
