Chapter 4: Talk

Gale's POV

"She's......my EX"

After I said those words, the table turned quiet and silent.

I keep on bugging Vyra but she keeps on ignoring me and focus on her phone.

*sigh*

'I think its not a good idea to blurt it out... It turns awkward right now...*sigh* '

I bug Vyra one more time but instead of asking me why, she just shot me her infamous death glare

After a while,

"Excuse me, I'll just use the washroom. If our order will arrive, please eat without me.." Vyra excused herself

"Can I go with you? If you dont mind.." Yumi asked shyly

"Well, its not my washroom to start with. Why not?" Vyra agreed and the two went.

Okay ...... AWKWARD

Tadashi seems hesitant to speak.He heaved a sigh and I was to start the convo when

"Can we talk?" Tadashi started the conversation

"About what?" I queried

"About Yumi" I was confused,discombobulated

"Why? What about her?"

"I'm going straight to the point" He sounded so serious

"You may"

"Please answer honestly.. Do you still love Yumi??" He ask so frank. I was speechless. I can't answer directly but I can see in his eyes, he's waiting for a NO.

Yumi's POV

*swish*

We are the only people inside and were not speaking to each other so the running water is the only music inside.

*ehem*

I faked a cough to catch her attention but unfortunately, it didn't. She just continue to wash her hands and after that, she slowly made her way to the door. I quickly finished washing then catch up to her. Moreover, block her ways with spread arms.

"Excuse me. Coming through" She stated without giving a gaze.

"We need to talk." I try to sound in authority

"About what? As far as I know, we only met or have we?"

"No, we haven't. Bu--" She cut me off

"Then MOVE" She raised her voice a bit and glared at me which made me startled and shiver but I hid my emotions.

"We got to talk. It's about Gale.."

I got her attention. She faced me with a raised eyebrow.

"What about him?"

"It--" For the second time

"Wait... Don't tell me that you're still into him?"

I felt shame while she gave an unbelievable look. An eerie silence overwhelms the place while I gather up my courage.

"*sigh* Yes.. so back off." I shot back a glare but it didn't scare her a bit. Instead, she gave me a sly smile.

"Why don't we settle it in a game?"

"Game?"

"Yes.. Whoever wins the game will have the right to stay with Gale and the loser will back off" She emphasize the word BACK OFF while eyeing me again with her smile.

"Deal.." She went out while I followed her.

We were quietly walking towards our table when she came to a halt and when I was about to ask why, I saw her stare at the boys, obviously listening to thier conversation

"No..." Then I saw Gale flashed a smile on Tadashi

The smile that I was wish to be mine again

" Its settled then.. I just dont want you to be one of the many hindrances of my plan" Tadashi said cooly

"Plan??? Are you gonna cou---" Gale stop midway when Valeen cough

"Lets eat" She said as soon as our order was nicely place on our table and we sat down already

Tadashi and I are indulge in our food or so I thought. Its just that I cant concentrate , a bit, because of Valeen acting so sweet to Gale infront of me which I get was only to piss me off and she successfully did.

"Gale, ahh~" There they go again

I am so pissed off already then I glance at Tadashi and an idea pop into my head

I gather up all my courage before saying...

"Tadashi, say ahh~" Then feed Tadashi. Although he look confused, he still ate it

Luckily, I got thier attention but instead of seeing her face frown, Valeen smirk.

She put her spoon down and motioned me to follow but Tadashi caught my arm then flash me his pleading eyes like saying ' Where are you going?'. I just smiled at him and continue following her cause honestly,

I don't where we'll go....
