Many years ago when not everything was recorded as history there was a viscous plague. This plague was one of the worst and most mysterious to have ever existed throughout the existence of man. They called it Horxa, a name in a language decimated by the plague itself, a name who's meaning was timeless. How ironic a plague that kills the many to have such a name. Though only one being was left that knew the reason, their name long since forgotten. Though a group of warriors that had once found their dwelling, a deep winding cave system, dubbed the being "Hyte" a name that meant the madness, which was well hidden. A madness that invaded the very depths of the minds that once belonged to each corpse that lay strewn around the dark caverns expanse. As the centuries dragged themselves by a new breed of humans and advanced civilisation filled with technology had found the last resting place of the dead, though it took some days to find the being beneath a mountain of bone staring unnervingly at the humans that invaded the cavern. The new breeds tried to calm what they thought to be a frightened survivor. Though the being slowly emerged from the mountain of bone revealing that they were indeed not one of the new breeds but something that seemed both aged and timeless. The new breeds watched closely as the being they now thought to be a animal rid itself of the blanket of bone obscuring it's body which seemed to be that of a human though bigger in structure. The new breeds backed away with caution at the sight only to notice a glowing deep blue around the beings neck, though not a complete circle it seemed like the wick to a cartoon bomb which was not noticeably moving. The being sat in a way similar to a common dog but with a presence that oozed a feeling of warning that most of the new breeds could sense. Far from the being in a corner of its cavern, a new breed yelled out to some of the others around it, showing them the only thing found beyond the bodies was the name the warriors had given the being before only one was able to leave "HYTE" was scrawled on the wall the new breed shone light upon with a strange thin stick. The being stared where the writing was and started to raised onto all four appendages as the new breeds stared. The being slowly approached the writing running a hand over the deep scratches the being turned to where the bodies of one of the warriors was, only to drag it to beneath the writing while turning to the new breeds expectantly. The new breed that held the stick of light waved it over the body then the writing and attempted to speak the word while pointing to the body. The being sighed but pointed at the body, to the words then towards itself before muttering in a voice unused to speaking "Hyte". The new breeds were not only surprised that the being could speak but that they could communicate. The new breed with the light stick mimicked what the being had done and said earning a nod from the being as it seemingly studied the new breeds. Listening closely to how the new breeds spoke the being said a single word in a near dead language that few of the new breeds seemed to understand "Libertas". A new breed from the first group that saw the being repeated into the new language "Freedom" the being looked at the new breed and slowly repeated the word in the new language to which the new breed began to smile with shocked disbelief. The being said the word again while slowly approaching the new breed that new the old language. "Sequor" spoke the new breed softly and slowly began to lead the being to the entrance the new breeds had made and where soft light began to pour in through the darkness of the cavern.
