Toni noticed Bryan's phone kept ringing and his alerts were going off. She picked up the phone to see who the messages were from.
Kimora: Hey Babe, just calling to check on you. I know today is your sisters birthday and I want you to know that I am here for you if you need anything. I know how much you loved and miss her. You're in my thoughts, love you! 💕
Toni's heart jumped right outside of her chest, she was shocked, hurt, angry and confused. Here is his ex girlfriend calling him "babe" and "supporting" him. Toni also felt bad because she didn't remember that today was his dead sisters birthday which would explain the reason why he's been in a funk all morning.
Toni took the opportunity to review all his messages back and forth with Kimora and for the most part it seemed like a genuine friendship but their were times where they would both flirt which is very inappropriate for a married man. Toni waited until Bryan came out of the shower to express her anger and rage.
As soon as Bryan walked out of the bathroom to continue drying off, He was excited and ready to make love and start his day. As soon as he walked into the bedroom, Toni threw his phone hitting him in his chest. Bryan knew immediately that she was upset because she never hit him before....
Bryan: Damn T, what was that for?! What's wrong with you?
Toni: Bryan, I'm not going to continue having this issue with you!!! I'm not doing it. I'm too cute and too old for this shit.
Bryan: T, what are you talking about?
Toni: Kimora!!!!
Bryan looked confused
Bryan: Kimora?! What about her?
Toni: Why is she STILL texting and calling you ?! We talked about this already.
Bryan: T, she's my friend..... you know this. I can't believe this is even a conversation.
Toni: I can't believe it's a conversation that we're having AGAIN. I already told you that I will chop your balls off if you ever play with me.
Bryan: T, you're not even the jealous type. Why are you trippin? If I check your phone right now, how many male "friends" will I find in it?! We don't have trust issues so what is this all about?! Besides, I'm sure she's just reaching out because today is my sisters birthday. You didn't even acknowledge it. She did, because she was also friends with my sister. She was there for me the day she died.
Toni hated that he threw that in her face and she hated that they shared a bond/connection that she couldn't replace. But she didn't care about that in this very moment, it was the principal and it all boiled down to boundaries and respect.
Toni: This is the same woman that you called the love of your life. ..... if you feel the need to keep in touch so much, maybe you need to be with her.......How would you feel if I did that to you?!
Bryan: Baby you are trippin..... Did I say anything when Keri was all up and through here when Traci died?! This nigga was here "supporting" you and as uncomfortable as it was for me, I put my feelings aside just so you were ok. I put up with a lot of shit that I'm uncomfortable with just to make sure you're happy and I believe that I have your love and loyalty so I just accept it and move on.
Toni: B, he was my husband! It's not the same!
Bryan: Kimora would've been my wife, if I was ready. But now she's my friend and she is like family at this point. T, you know how hard it is to have people you can trust in this industry. She's solid and I appreciate that. It's not like it's a relationship/friendship that I'm trying to hide. She knows I'm married and I would NEVER disrespect you in that way. We only talk on occasion or sometimes for holidays and birthdays. I may send her flowers or something small.
