Jess is wearing a green silky dress which revealed her shoulders, it highlights her hazel eyes. Her hair is combed in a loose braid with few strands of hair falling. Beside her stands emma, with a red tight dress and long boots, her now red highlighted hair all open.

‘ you look hot in black ‘ jess said as she walks inside, she is wearing black heels.
I smile,’ thanks’ my gaze shift to emma who walked behind jess, ‘ you both aswell’
Emma salutes,’ we know ’
I nod towards the cushion and the chairs I set there,’ enjoy yourself’
I walk in the kitchen and pour myself a glass of water and sit on the slap, getting a clear view of both the women. My kitchen’s all open, with a clear view of the living room with my bedroom to the right of it. I used to have a gaming room to the left of my living room but now it’s just turned into a storage.
The doorbell rings again, must be Jordan.
Emma opens the door before I finish the glass of water. ‘ hey guys’ she grins, her blue eyes sparkle,’ come on in’
Blue jeans and brown boots step in the room along with a white t shirt with long sleeves. He wears comfy clothes but somehow manages to always pull them off.
Then a beautiful young lady,with dark dusk skin and swirling black curls comes into my vision, she wears heels and a yellow sundress which highlights her brown skin perfectly. Looped earrings hang from her ears and a necklace covers her neck.
Ah, the pretty with no effort couple.
Jordan finally looks at me after greeting the two ladies, a little smile and then a firm handshake along with a pat on the back, ‘ long time man’
I nod,’ indeed’ then gaze towards her girlfriend, ‘ you’re one lucky guy’
The lady in yellow grins as she hears my compliment, ‘ chloe’s the name. thankyou’ grace dance in her voice and tone. I smile back then look back at my old friend,’ so how’s it going?’
‘ all good ‘ his eyes and mouth droop down as he says the next four words,’ I’m sorry about mia’
Silence lingers between us until chloe calls for him from the cushion, ‘ come here for a minute’
And by the look in her eyes, I guess she knows about mia and saved me from the awkward confrontation infront of Jordan.
thanks, I silently mouth my words to her.
she blinks with a smile, all good.
Not even a day knowing her but by her aura, I for sure know she and Jacob are going to be the endgame.
He was walking towards her but the phone in the backpocket of his jeans beeps and as expected, he stops and takes it out.
I choke when Jess snatches it from him and sneer at him,’ leave your phone goddamn it’ and then tosses it on to me. luckily, I catch.
‘ you have a good ass ‘ I say to Jacob, jokingly smirking. He lifts his middle finger in response.
It feels good, to have it for some time, the memories. We were all so busy- but it doesn’t matter now. I shake my head, it’s the present that matters.
‘noah’ emma said from across the room,’ do you know where a nearby domino is?’
Ofcourse, she wants pizza.
‘ wait I’ll see on google. I’ll order it for you’ she nods and then goes back to the story she was telling Jessica and chloe, leaving Jacob as a thirdwheel.
My phone’s in the bedroom- I look at the one in my hand, already unlocked. I open google, domino near me-
But the search history of Jacob catches my attention.
