The first doctor appointment, with Kory, was today. He stayed at my house the previous night. Since he stayed we had time to talk. To much time.

Kory decided it was time to talk about what happened at school. About Alex and Merideth. "What..were you thinking." He wasn't yelling, he knew not to do that, he was just angry. I could tell, I'm sure anybody could have. But he was there, with me, nobody else.

"Obviously I wasn't.." He sighed and asked more questions which I answered.

Sitting in an office had never been so awkward. Was it the reason I sat here? The person I was accompanied with? That I'm so young? I have no clue. It was simply awkward.

"Today, today, we find out what it is," I was shaky, not in a bad way. I was nervous to find out what our precious baby was. Kory, the beautiful daddy of my baby, sat next to me. Smiling his gorgeous, perfect, crooked smile, Kory whispered,

"Boo, think about the possibilities." I gave him a dumbfounded look.

"Honey, it can be a boy, or a girl. There's no other option!" Kory chuckled softly,

The doctor walked in, "Alice, Kory," She beamed. "It's great to see you, both, again!" I smiled and grabbed Kory's hand.

"It's great to see you, too!" I stood up, shaking the doctors hand.

"We'll, let's get this started! Shall we," Doctor Beck said Cooley. Nodding I walked to the uncomfortable bed. There was no stool, and I am short, it wasn't worth jumping. Or trying to jump. I looked at Kory, trying the puppy dog eyes, believe me, it worked.

Becky rubbed the, cold, jelly on my belly as I laid on the cot. I watched the screen next to me.

As she rolled the ultra-sound thing around, the one that can magically see into your stomach, I could see my baby on the screen. I bubbled with, hell, I was eccentric!
