when she awoke again she could hear ruth giggling and you talking back though, she couldn't make out what you were saying.

she walked slowly and quietly out of the room not wanting to disrupt the moment between you and ruth.

she leaned gently on the doorway. watching peacefully.

you started to move around the kitchen slightly. she snuck behind you putting her hands around you wasit helping you to hold up ruth as if you needed it. you started slightly but instantly melted against her touch

you became slightly bashful changing the subject quickly.

"we made you breakfast. your plates in the microwave" you told her as she moved to your front reaching under your hands to take ruth from you

"let me see the sweet baby" she cooed in her baby voice lifting the baby above her head and planting a gentle kiss to her lips.

ruth smiled widely at the sight of her mama and she gurgled at mary kate when she was cradled in her arms.

"tell me all about it" she planted a kiss to the baby again sitting down at the bar.

you moved to heat up mary kate's food aswell as heating up a bottle for tweety in the prosses.

you placed the food infornt of mary kate offering to take ruth from her so she could eat. of course your girlfriend declined feeling you've already had more than enough time with ruth this morning.

"will you help me give ruth her meds?" you ask getting everything out

"can't you do it?"

"you need to learn. you'll have to do it yourself when in working" you stated and she nodded agreeing with you

"I don't wanna hurt her" she said sounding so sweet to you in that moment

as if she could ever hurt ruth who she was absolutely adored. anyone could see that.

"you won't hurt her baby" you helped walk her through the steps and then assisted her as she did it herself.

Mary K had brought up taking Ashley and Lizzie out to lunch the talk to them about Ruth.

ashley knew how serious things were getting between you and MK. she knew of ruth but hadn't heard anything in a few weeks

lizzie only knew of you. she had yet to meet you and had no clue about ruth.

Mary Kate's POV

"I do have something to talk to you guys about. its actually why I invited the two of you to lunch today"

they nodded symostaniously waiting for me to go on.

"so Ruth- sorry tweety-" ashley interrupted me

"how is she. did she get the liver?" ashley asked sounding genuanly intreged

"yes thank god. y/n got to do the surgery"

"that's amazing-"

"sorry who's ruth/tweety?" lizzie asked being obviously out of the loop

my little sisters quite busy. shes worth a lot right now. i feel almost honored that she was available to do lunch today on such short notice.

"she was one of y/n's patients. she was abandoned by her parents when she started to go into liver failure. i made a donation in hopes to get her that liver-" of course ashley had to interrupt me again. i swear these girls have no manners.

"was? MK did she.."

"nono god no... fine ill just get to the case.. instead of her going into the system y/n and I decided to foster her" I said waiting for a reaction.

lizzie looked quite shocked she was so busy filming and doing interviews she hasn't even had the chance to meet y/n and now the two of us have a child together.

"she's an Olsen" I said proudly trying to lighten the mood slightly as I was becoming a little anxious

I looked over at my twin sister. she was smiling widely at me and her hands rose to her chest in awe

"when can I meet her?!" she asked standing up to hug me in congratulations

"well I don't think y/n would mind if the two of you wanted to stop by after lunch" I said when I parted from Ashley

in my luck the two of them agreed

lizzie still looked a little shocked but she seemed happy fo rme. i mean she wasn't being engitive she just seemed a little apprehensive about all this.

I'm sure this is a shock to both of them. i mean who would'a thought that I would end up wth a kid before either of them.

we ate lunch making light conversation and catching up.
