The Blood Banquet

(TW: BLOOD BROTHERS CEREMONY [just blood])

Sapnap groaned. It was another day of training with the egg. He was tired of this. It had been happening for as long as he could remember.

"Bad, do we have to train with the egg today?" Sapnap looked at the demon.

"Yes! Don't you want to rule the SMP one day?" Bad stared at Sap.

"Well of course I do." Sapnap answered.

"Bad he means that training everyday from sun-up to sun-down is too much for him." Dream giggled.

"Hey that is NOT true!" Sapnap argued.

"We're here so shut up you two." Bad scolded.

"What do you need today, Egg?" Dream asked eagerly.

"I need you to figure out who the current ruler of the SMP is." The egg's eerie voice spoke into their minds.

"Oh that's easy, it's Eret!" Sapnap answered.

"Oh, that should be easy enough. Your assessment is today, to become full-on Eggpire members." The egg told them.

"Ohhh! What's the task?" Sapnap asked.

"BadBoyHalo, this one's up to you." The egg said.

"Oh okay." Bad thought, thinking of a good task. "You need to steal Eret's crown. If you cannot, you have 5 more years of training ahead of you."

"Easy enough." Dream laughed. "Or are you scared, Sap?"

"I'm not scared!" Sapnap growled back.

"Foolish will be watching you, you will not know he is there and he will not help you." Bad warned, sending them on their way.

The two walked along the path that led to the castle, seeming as if they were just two normal kids, but they were quite the opposite. They pulled masks over their heads, and slipped inside an open window.

Once inside, they stealthily headed for the throne room. Sure enough, the crown rested upon the dozing king's head. Sapnap handed Dream the fake crown, and slipped the real one off his head while Dream replaced it with the fake one. Dream tripped, setting off an alarm. They ran as fast and as quietly as they could, slipping out the window they came in.

Sapnap slapped Dream. "THAT WAS TOO CLOSE MAN!"

"Hey, we're not dead, are we?" Dream laughed.

"IF WE KEEP STANDING HERE WE WILL BE!" Sapnap pointed out.

"Fair, let's get out of here." Dream agreed, leading the way back to the egg.

When they arrived, the entirety of the Eggpire was there. Antfrost, Punz, Ponk, Hannah, and even Skeppy showed up. The two boys laid the crown upon the egg, and bowed before it. Bad walked in, and laid down a red carpet. Not one of the fancy ones, however. This one was red with blood.

The boys went to the end of the carpet, Bad standing on the other side, just in front of the egg.

"Come forward." called the Egg.

The boys advanced up the carpet, and Bad stepped off to the side as they bowed yet again before the egg. All of the Eggpire members kneeled, heads down.

"You boys are definitely ready for this. You completed a hard mission with relative ease." The Egg praised. Bad, the blood crowns please.

Bad came forward with the two crowns with their names inscribed in them. He set them on their heads, and tapped a sword to each shoulder.

"You are now full members of the Eggpire. You may stand." At Bad's words, the two boys stood.

"Now, give me your right hands." Bad told the boys, holding a dagger.

They held up their right hands, and Bad made a slit across their palms. He did the same, but with his left hand. He then held his left hand out, and the boys shook it. That locked them into the empire.

"We are now all linked by blood. By shaking my hand, you have agreed that if you disobey the egg, you shall get one slit across your back. When you have thirteen scars, you are locked up in the Blood Prison." Bad explained as he wrapped the boys' palms and his own.

"You all may go now." The Egg told them, and with that, they left.
