So, me and Mo have been talking for a couple of weeks now and I'm not gonna lie, he's dope as fuck. I had my guard up for a minute, but he just made talking to him so easy. I don't want to fall for this guy, but he's making it hard not to. There's only one problem...I told y'all he was a hood nigga.

*On The Phone*

Ivory: *drop my duffle bag on the couch* I just got in.

Mo: What you got planned tonight?

Ivory: I'm chilling on the west side, you wanna come?

Mo: I'll pull up.

Ivory: *smile* okay, Lala's coming too so bring a friend.

Mo: Alright bet, send me the location. You're smoking a blunt with me tonight right?

Ivory: *chuckle* I gotchu, bye. *hang up*

What is this feeling in my stomach? I don't like it. How do I make it go away? He can't have this effect on me.

*Phone Rings*

Ivory: *sigh* *answer the phone* hello?

Mr. Davis: Hi, Ms. Jackson this is Ciara's teacher. I'm gonna need to have you come up here and meet with me in regards to her behavior.

Ivory: Her behavior?

Mr. Davis: Yes, she's been late to class every day this week and she came in today smelling like marijuana.

Ivory: *cover my laugh* I'll be there shortly *hang up*

Ciara is my little sister. We have the same dad, different moms. She had it a little rougher than I did growing up. Her mom disappeared when she was six years old and my dad has been working two jobs since then. I try to keep her out of trouble by keeping her close, but keeping her around me is also keeping her around Lala and we all know how that goes.

*At The High School*

Ivory: *walk in the classroom* I'm here *sit down next to Ciara*

Mr. Davis: Let me grab your progress report *walks back to his desk*

Davis: Let me grab your progress report *walks back to his desk*

Ivory: What exactly is going on right now? *look at Mr. Davis*

Ciara: *looks at Mr. Davis* *looks at me* *whispers* I missed the bus a few times *shrugs*

Mr. Davis: She's failing my class and she showed up smelling like marijuana

Ivory: Ciara?

Ciara: I wasn't smoking, I promise.

Ivory: *look at Mr. Davis* Mr. Davis, I'm not sure who my sister has been spending her time with and who may smoke around her, but if my sister said she doesn't smoke then she doesn't smoke. Now as far as her failing your class, I will be dropping her off to this class everyday
