Aunt: We've been following a drug case for some time now, shots went off, we pulled up on the scene and they caught her and another young boy trying to flee.
Ivory: Are you crazy? It was Trey, huh? We're gonna talk about this when we get home.
Ciara: *cries* this is not the most important thing we need to talk about right now.
Dad: What is more important than this Ciara? You could've been killed.
Aunt: They couldn't question her without a parent or guardian present. Ivan you weren't answering your phone.
Dad: So let's go in there and get this over with.

Aunt: She's been living in Spain up until a week ago.
Ivory: Auntie not now
Alyssa: I know I messed up, I was young, I made a mistake.
Ivory: Walking out on your kids is not a mistake, it's a choice.
Ciara: Ivory stop, she's my mom. Not yours.
Ivory: I've been every role since she's been gone and she gets to walk in here like nothing ever happened? Fuck no.
Alyssa: I appreciate how you've looked out for your brother and sister and I will never try to downplay your role in their lives, but I am here and I'm trying.
