Y/N POV:

My fiancé and I are having an argument as we are driving to a nearby hotel to stay the night. I don't even know why we're arguing to be honest. He just started causing shit and I'm going to stand up for myself.

"Why do you have to be so mean to me? I didn't even do anything Henry."
I yelled slightly, I'm tired of this man's shit.

But what he did next scared me. He took ahold of my wrist and gripped on it hard. I could feel a bruise forming causing me to wince.

"You are a fucking disgrave Y/n, I don't even want to marry you in the first place. The only why I even stand you is so our parents companies can join together." He yelled on the top of his lungs and his eyes held anger.

"P-please stop, you're hurting me." I tried getting my wrist but he only held onto it tighter.

He threw my wrist causing me to sigh in relief. I look down at my wrist to see if turning yellow and purple. Next thing I knew we were at the hotel. It read Bates Hotel. As soon as we parked i got out of the car and grabbed my bag that held my belongings. Henry and I walked into the hotel but I couldn't help but feel nervous, im not sure. Something just felt wrong. A man was behind the counter and he was a good looking man. He had dark brown hair, dark brown eyes that looked black, and a smile that could melt someone's heart.

But something seemed off about him. I was snapped out of my thoughts when he began to speak.

"Hello how I may help you today?" His voice was warming...comforting in a way.

Henry then held onto my hand a gave it a squeeze causing my heart to beat faster.

"My wife and I would like a room." Henry's voice sounded different. He put on his charm.

To others he seemed like a kind gentle man but behind closed doors he was a manipulator. I kept my head down and didn't make eye contact with the man.

"Oh course, here you guys go. If you need anything just call me. My name is Norman, Norman Bates."

Ah..so that's his name. Henry grabbed the key and we went along our way. We went into our room and I places my bag on the dresser. The room was nice, the walls we a creamy white, the curtains were a dark color of red, and the bed was a pretty green color with designs on it. Henry then left the room leaving me alone by myself. I couldn't help but get the feeling of being watched.

I had just got out the shower and changed into my pajamas. After that I walked into the room to sleep but I was faced with a drunken Henry. He had a bottle of beer in one hand and a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. I gulped not knowing what was to come.

"Ya know, I've always fucking hated you Y/n." After he spoke he drank the last bit of his beer bottle and threw it against the wall making me jump a bit.

"You have no idea how much I just want you to be gone." He got up and wakked towards me.I backed up.

I tried running past him but he grabbed onto my hair and threw me against the wall causing me to let out a cry. me. I tried to fight him but he was too strong. I was beginning to feel dizzy while on the floor, as I was about to pass out I heard blood curling scream and I looked up and saw Henry collapse onto the floor and I saw a figure. I couldn't really tell what the person looked like. I then felt myself being carried but I was then met with darkness.

I woke up with a massive headache, the sun was hitting my face and my body ached all over. I then remembered what happened last night and tears started to form in my eyes. What did I do to deserve this? I then heard the door opening casuing me to immediately wipe my tears away. I looked infront of me to Norman holding a tray of food. He walked towards me and gave me a smile making me blush slightly.

"You're up! I made you breakfast." His voice immediately put me at ease.

He placed the tray on my lap and I looked down to see eggs, bacon, and toast. Norman then took bandages out of his pocket. I then grew curious.

"What happened to Henry and why am I here?" I looked into his eyes to see a but of guilt in them. But there was also a tad of anger in them.

I then remembered hearing screams and seeing Henry fall...he killed Henry. I guess Norman saw me realize the hard truth because he spoke up.

"I had to do it Y/n, you don't deserve to be treated like that." Norman sounded upset.

Next thing I knew I was sobbing and holding onto my face to hide myself. I felt weak. Norman then took a hold of my hands and wiped my tears. He did a circling motion on my cheeks and hugged me. I heard his heart beat.

"It's okay to cry dear, let it all out. You're safe now."

I hugged Norman tighter.

"T-hank you." My voice was rough and scratchy from crying.

Norman kissed my forehead and fed me the breakfast he fed me. I felt safe for the first time in a very long time.
