tatum lives, simon dies. enjoy swaggots <3

-------

"what if we don't make it out of this, si. i mean-" i ask simon as he puts an 'x' of sam's blood on my arm.

"we will, don't worry. we've got this." he replies, trying his best to assure me. i love him with all of my heart- what i didnt know is that he would never hear it.

"you guys remember half an hour ago when you wanted to murder me?"

i still do, but go on.

"you don't have to do this, you can leave." she continues.

"remember when you decided to sacrifice yourself for us?" kate replies. "we are ending this together."

"hm. touché," i add.

"you've done well, my friend." simon pats her shoulder.

"I'll see you later." i give her a sad smile. "we got back door patrol." i hug simon and turn my head around to face kate and josh and see them kiss. "simon," i whisper. "look."

"this corn expired two years ago, what the hell," i say, putting it back in it's previous spot on the shelf. and then i hear kate's scream. i immediately rush to the source of the sound to see her struggling against the skull mask killer. i slap my hands over my mouth to keep myself from screaming as i watch her get pushed into the bread slicer.

i turn around and puke after seeing all that blood, kate's head in.. slices. it's all so disgusting. you see that type of stuff in movies but when you see it in person it's a whole different story. i wipe my mouth and stand up to see ruby lane coming for me.

"not today, bitch!" i take the garden rake right next to me and start scratching and whacking her with it. "i! am not! dying! today!" i scream. i then pushed the rake's sharp ends into her neck, and she couldn't even scream. that bitch deserved it. she drops her razorblade to try and pull it away but before she could, her head slides right off, and she drops on the floor.

i run over to kick her head far away and grab her razorblade and look up just in time to see sam stop struggling against deena, and the lade disappear. i let out a breath at our accomplishment.

"simon, we did it!" i run to where i last saw him, with josh but stop dead in my tracks. "sim... simon?" my whole world shattered in front of me, and i fell to my knees.

"simon!" tatum's scream echoed throughout the walls of the grocery store and she crawled over to simon. she let out a choked sob. everything was gone. her soulmate was dead, and he never even heard her say i love you. "simon, please hold on. please don't leave me! i- can't- please." her voice was shrill, the pain overtook her.

all that could be heard was samantha's coughing and tatum's sobbing. she rocked back and forth, simon in her lap, she couldn't let him go. "no! please, i love you, simon, i love you. please come back." tatum whispered. but he wasn't breathing. his blood was soaking her clothes, pooling from his head. deep down, she knew he wouldn't- couldn't- come back. but in the moment, she tried everything.

tatum felt arms wrap around her and turned around to see josh and she leaned back onto him, sobbing into his shirt.

"i hate you deena! i hate you! this is all your guys' fault!" she screamed, her voice cracking. simon may have got an easy way out. out of this forever curse. but tatum had so much longer to go.
