"Rin, wake up!" Y/n said with a worried tone while shaking me anxiously which made me sprung up from the couch in surprise.
"What is it? Enemies?" I asked as I looked around frantically.
"No, it's nothing like that, it's just..." She said, hesitant to continue her sentence, her grip on my arm slightly tightened as she avoids my gaze.
I held on to her hand and comfortingly squeezed it before asking her what was wrong.
She took a deep breath before facing me with a serious look and told me to be calm about the news that she was about to say.
"What is it?" I asked.
"It's about your brother..." She said and suddenly my heart began to beat quickly and I began to worry.
"What about him?" I asked, trying to stay calm but what she said next made my heart sink.
Ran was caught in an accident on his mission.
That idiot, if only he said he needed our help then none of this happened. No, it's my mistake in letting him go alone. Damnit.
