Fresh off being back to group activities and performing on queendom for the first time, Jiyeon also had the duty of throwing the first picth for the celebrity baseball game coming up. This year however instead of the actual players, it was decided that the groups themselves would each play one inning. Starship had been doing well in the tornurment so far, and tomorrow would be the last game. The girls were all at the dorm getting the schedule for next day when it was announced that Hyunjung would be batter as voted by the other teams. Hyunjung just shrugged her shoulders and chanced a glance at Jiyeon who was animately explaining something to Dayoung off in the corner.
She took a deep breath and went back to idly playing on her phone. She didn't care much about sports of any kind, but it was what the company wanted and she couldn't let the girls down. She didn't mean for it to be awkward but ever since Jiyeon got back, she's retreated back into her shell. The thing is she had a crush on the black haired beauty, but never dared utter a word of it to anyone. So the more she avoided her, the more tensions grew between them. Jiyeon would initaite a conversation and Hyunjung would seem to want to run for the hills. Suffice to say Eunseo called her out on it one late night and she finally confessed to having feelings for Jiyeon. Eunseo being her charming self, would not stop teasing her about it and now she was sat here thinking about keeping it professional infront of all the cameras. Because if she couldn't fake it infront of her bestfriend, then she would definitely not be able to fake it infront of the entire world.

Game Day
The girls had arrived at the stadium, Jiyeon in her number 8 jersey, coffee in hand, waving and smiling her way towards the entrance. As the other van arrived, Hyunjung could just make out Jiyeon stepping through the doors, before Sojung pulled her out of her thoughts. "Earth to Shaki" she said snapping her fingers infront of Hyunjung's face. Huh? What did you say Hyunjung asked? Sojung rolled her eyes and repeated her question. "I asked if you and Jiyeon-ah decided on the couple look today or if it was just a coincidence?" ...Wha- Hyunjung coughed, couple, we're not a couple, she stuttered, its just a coincidence she repeated. Soobin eyed her suspicioulsy and Sojung just nodded her head. Meanwhile Eunseo at the back was turning beet red from holding in her laughter, as the manager finally opened the door so the girls could step out.
Hyunjung tried to compose herself as they also made their way to the entrance. Nice one Eunseo said as she flew past Hyunjung to catch up with Luda.
All she had to to was get through this day and it would all go back to normal tomorrow.
Upon arriving at the entrance Hyunjung was whisked away from the rest of the girls, along a long corridor, she spotted Jiyeon at the far end, seemingly waiting for her arrival so they could go over the plan for the first pitch opener.
It was easy, walk onto the field, say a few words, fake a hit and a throw and continue on with the game.
Hyunjung was so deep in concentration that she didn't even hear Jiyeon speak. Startled she sat up straight and looked at the shorter girl. "I asked if you were okay with that" Jiyeon said. Hyunjung just nodded her head and agreed.
Their manager came and and told them its time to go out onto the field, Hyunjung grunted and walked out behind Jiyeon who was so excited she couldn't contain herself.

It all happened so fast, Jiyeon grabbed the team mascot's hand and then outstretched her other hand for Hyunjung to take. That's when Hyunjung realized what she had agreed to earlier, holding Jiyeon's hand and boy was she mentally kicking herself as they were led onto the field. Blush creeping on her face she tried to stay as natural as possible. Jiyeon let go of her hand to wave at the crowded stadium and she did the same. As they walked further onto the field Jiyeon tried to take Hyunjung by the hand again but the latter panicked and kept her hands behind her back. They said a few words and was then led to their respective places.
