Samira stormed The Magic Kingdom castle's great hall. "I knew this would happen!," she exclaimed upset. "Now Cedric has our son and is planning to turn him into the Dark One!," Aurelius walked up behind his wife and sighed deeply. "You don't know he's going to succeed!," Aurelius tried to calm his wife down, "Elderon and Rachel are on their way to rescue him," Samira turned to her husband. "Aurelius, we don't know what harm Cedric might have inflicted upon our son once he's rescued!," she explained. Aurelius sighed and gently put his hands on her arms below her shoulders. "I promise you," he began, "That whatever happens, I will not let our son fall into the darkness," Samira nodded as tears started building up in her eyes and she hugged him tightly and Aurelius hugged her tightly back.

Gwydion woke up next day to Cedric opening the doors to the chambers. "Time to rise and shine, my little gem," he said wickedly, "Today, we're going to take a walk through the town," Gwydion slowly sat up in the bed. He didn't like the fact of taking a walk through the town, but he knew that he didn't have a choice anyway. He slowly got out of bed and put on the new leather clothes familiar to the ones Cedric was wearing. As he glanced into the mirror, he barely recognised himself. Was this how he would look like always once he was the new Dark One? The thought made him want to scream straight out, but he couldn't.
He fallowed Cedric out of the chambers and out of the castle down towards the evil wizard's citadel nearby. Gwydion could start to feel that it was something that was starting to grow inside of him. Hatred was starting to grow inside him. And that was something he couldn't allow to consume his heart.

Elderon, Rachel and Kailen walked through the woods. They had managed to get into the right path towards Cedric's Kingdom. But they hoped that they would not be too late to save Gwydion from the evil wizard. "This is the right path," Elderon explained, "I can feel him through our bound again," Rachel looked up at her brother. "Then there's no time to lose," she said and they continued their way through the woods.

Gwydion watched Cedric's people doing their normal day routines in the town. He felt a slight sadness for the people. It could not be easy to be ruled by such a cruel man. They came out into a meadow that belonged to the royal lands. With them, one of Cedric's men had followed to protect his master. His name was Asim. Asim had actually been very kind towards Gwydion, but had not spoken so much towards the young wizard. Gwydion smiled weakly as he saw a crowd of people gathering for a wedding. But at the same time, he feared that this was something that Cedric wasn't pleased with. Cedric innocently approaching the crowd. "Good day, citizens!," he greeted, "Enjoying the meadow?," the priest smiled. "Indeed," the priest said, "It seemed perfect for our wedding ceremony," Cedric smiled wickedly. "It is lovely," he began, "But you see, these are a part of the lords lands. And I don't recall giving you permission to marry here," A man looked at the evil wizard. "We didn't know," he began, "We had to...," Cedric stuck his hand into the man's chest and ripped out his heart. Gwydion swallowed and looked away. "My Lord," Asim began, "Couldn't you be overreacting because of what day it is?," "Don't talk to me about this day, Asim!," Cedric warned. Asim looked at him. "But you leave this anger at your citizens, My Lord," he explained, "To illuminate them would be shortsighted and weak," "I'm not weak!," Cedric exclaimed at his guard. Gwydion swallowed. Cedric turned towards the man. "I was going to spare you," he began, "But someone just made me angry!," And he squeezed the heart and the man collapsed to the ground. The other people exclaimed in panic and Cedric let the dust of what was left of the man's heart fall to the ground. "Next time there's a wedding," he began nonchalantly, "Book the church in the town instead," And he turned to leave. "Come Ambrose!," he commanded and Gwydion obediently followed the evil wizard and they returned to the castle.

A while later, Gwydion walked through the dark corridors of Cedric's castle. He sighed deeply as he thought about the first time he had revealed his magic to Christian. He clearly remembered his friends reaction and what he had told Christian himself.

Gwydion took out fire in his hands before the fifteen year old Christian who smiled in amazement. "It is lonely," young Gwydion explained, "To be more powerful than anyone else you know, and have to live like a shadow," Young Christian smiled softly at his friend. "With me, you'll never be alone," he explained, "You're my best friend. And I'll never leave you. No matter what. I accept you for who you are. No matter what happens, we'll always be friends. And we'll never leave each other's sides," Gwydion smiled back at him.

Gwydion let out a deep sigh at the memory and continued through the corridors as another memory flew through his mind.

Christian put a hand on Gwydion's shoulder. "Something I tell all my young knights," he began. "No man is worth your tears," Gwydion smiled at him. "You're certainly not!," he teased and Christian smiled at him.

Strange whispers woke Gwydion from his thoughts and he slowly followed the whispers that lead him through the corridors to a black cupboard and he slowly opened it. A black rectangular box was revealed before him. The whispers continued whispering in his head and he slowly stretched out his hand to open it when he was burned by a reaction from a protection spell. He pulled out his Eldstar and drew the unlock/lock rune to open the box. In the box, a dagger was revealed and he continued hearing whispers inside his head, telling him to pick the dagger up. And he did. He then closed the box and the cupboard and hurried away down the hall towards his chambers. But he did not notice Cedric watching him in secret with a wicked smile on his face. "Seems like my plans are going well," he said and let out a wicked chuckle.
