Gwydion woke up in a beautiful clearing laying in the green blooming grass. He slowly sat up and looked around confused. Where was he? He then remembered. He had fallen through a portal. The portal must have sent him here. He slowly stood up and began walking. He wasn't recognising himself from anywhere. He reached a castle that he recognised very well. It was his parents castle. Why was his parents castle here? Maybe he had been so lucky after all and the portal had sent him home. "Emersion!," a child's voice yelled loudly. Gwydion couldn't believe his eyes. A young Emersion came running with a Demon blade and started fighting the girl. "Here's my softie little sister again! Ready to lose!," young ten year old Emersion teased. Gwydion now understood what had really happened. The portal. He had traveled back in time back to year sixteen of The Second Age. Emersion was ten years old then. But this must be shortly after Emersion had stood up against his father... Hadrian. Emersion and Alana fought against each other with their blades when Emersion suddenly let go of his blade and sat down on the ground, crying. "Emersion?," Alana asked softly and gently put a hand on her brother's shoulder. Gwydion didn't understand at all what was happening. "Mother!," a worried Alana yelled loudly, holding back her tears. The people who Gwydion guessed was Eiran and Celine came running into the garden. Celine squatted down beside Emersion whose hands were shaking and cracking of his magic. "Emersion? What's wrong?," Celine asked her adoptive son worriedly. Emersion looked up at his adoptive mother shakily. "He's coming for me... It's starting again... I cannot control it," Celine sighed softly and pulled Emersion into her arms and hugged him tightly. "Do you want to go to bed for a while?," she asked and Emersion nodded. "Come," Celine said gently and helped Emersion up and they walked into the castle. Gwydion felt slightly sad for his great grandfather. Emersion had grown up with his evil father hunting him all of his life. He slowly made his way closer to the entrance of the castle. It didn't seem like they would come back out again. He decided to continue his way further away from here. There must be someone who could help him get back in his time.
