Chapter 10: Slytherin

Lilith let Regulus carry her back to Slytherin dorms. The boys in his dorm Lucius Malfoy and Rabastan Lestrange all let her sleep in the dorm on one condition. When Slytherin played quidditch, she would wear their colors and cheer for them. Which she did. Since she hated quidditch anyways.

When they reached the dorm, Lilith wrapped her arms around Regulus. 

"Why? Why did I say no? I wanted to say yes. But I said no." She asked.

"You were scared." 

"I hurt him so badly. How do I fix this?" She sobbed.

"You say yes." Regulus sat her down on his bed.

This is when the hyperventilating started.

"But I'm too young for a relationship! And what about the whole romantic physical contact thing! UGH! I hate this so much. No, I will just ignore him. Yah. I will just ignore him." Lilith tried to give herself confidence.

"He won't hurt you."

"But I could hurt him."

"You already have." 

Lilith eventually cried herself to sleep.

When she woke up, it was raining. And she was late for classes. Lilith sprinted towards her classes, running smack into Sirius. She stumbled backwards and he caught her wrist before she fell. 

"Have you changed your mind?" He asked hopefully.

Lilith squeezed her eyes shut.

"I'll go out with you. Just one date." She said, firmly.

"Just one date." Sirius smiled and hugged her.

During classes, Lilith heavily avoided answering questions. It was close to the full moon and she was tired. Remus kept on shooting her worried glances but she ignored him. Only when Sirius gently tapped her on the head did she even look up. 

Lily was worried about her sister. Hogwarts had dragged them apart. Lilith had friends outside of Gryffindor and pretty much everywhere. She knew almost all the store owners in Hogsmeade and could work at any one of them if she chose too. She often did over the summer. But Lily knew it was just to get away from their horrid home life with parents terrified of magic. Lilith needed her magic. She couldn't cope with not using it.
