The Woman She Fell 4 But Couldn't Have....Or Could She?

Caitlin's Hurt

*Monday 2nd May, 2022*

The following morning, and Danielle is up and dressed as she eats her breakfast and has her cup of tea, Caitlin comes down in a long sleeve t-shirt and trousers. She only wants Danielle to touch her and she sits on the blonde's lap, Danielle kisses her cheek and rubs her arm in comfort, at quarter past eight that morning Danielle leaves the Manor but Caitlin doesn't want to be away from her so she goes with her and they go to town on the bus.

While on their way to the bus stop, Caitlin freezes upon seeing Melanie with David, and Danielle takes her hand into her own and squeezes it gently. Danielle insists that she will be ok with time, but Caitlin declines this by saying that she won't ever forget the pain that Melanie had inflicted onto her. The blonde, for her part, is worried because its not only Melanie that is the cause of Caitlin's pain. They arrive in town following their bus journey and Caitlin holds her hand while planting her head on the blonde's shoulder, at half past ten am, they leave the learning centre and head home as Caitlin is tired.

Since Caitlin's return, Danielle's powers have been off and she charges off to do battle with the demon. Barbara and Tommy tell her not to expect any help from him or Barbara in case she is exposed as one of their desperate attempt to get her to stop but obviously didn't work. They spot smoke coming from a shed. Danielle tries to blow the door open, but her powers are still unreliable since she is worried about Caitlin and they obviously have a connection; but she ends up freezing Tommy. She tries again and this time manages to blow it open but knocks Tommy against a car. A man runs out, pursued by three women wearing tribal-like dress and markings on their faces. They also have long, sharp talons. Danielle tries to freeze them, but ends up blowing up a car instead. She tries again but while freezing Tommy again, the women don't. The strange women attack Danielle, Caitlin and Barbara. Danielle manages to unfreeze Tommy just before one breathes smoke into Caitlin's mouth. Cole shimmers in just in time and blasts the fury with an energy ball and the other two disappear in puffs of smoke. Caitlin starts coughing.

Danielle is determined to vanquish the women, despite Tommy and Barbara's attempts to calm her down. Tommy inadvertly tells Cole that Danielle has little control over her powers. Phoebe (Danielle's first cousin) isn't surprised, since their powers are tied to their emotions, and the blonde has both a personal and romantic connection to Caitlin, her powers have responded to Danielle's need to protect Caitlin has kicked in more powerful than ever. 

Cole explains to Tommy and Barbara that the women they encountered are , demonic vigilantes that go after evildoers. They will pursue and kill a shoplifter as easily as they would a murderer and take great pleasure in doing so. Cole tells Phoebe that he's encountered Furies before and that they have the power to make evildoers hear the cries of all of their past victims. Phoebe tells him that Cole isn't the same Belthazor who killed so many people over the years.

At the manor, Caitlin is fighting her pain, despite Leo's efforts to calm her down. Caitlin finally gives in and succumbs to the demon but Danielle reveals that Caitlin is dying as her body is not built to process the demon within her body. Danielle arrives just as Caitlin sees her but disappears to find the answer to her pain and Cole goes to track her as Danielle reveals to the twins about what their grandparents did to their mother, and they (along with Melanie) are the cause of their mother's pain.

Danielle finds Caitlin and returns her home but then takes her to her father's temple where her parents and Melanie are waiting for her. At Danielle's encouragement, Caitlin snaps mentally and vents her anger and rage towards the people who had hurt her as she realises that her parents are also responsible for her pain as well as Melanie, berating each of them for disowning her, abusing her and leaving her alone and finally returning to normal as she breaks down in tears, while Danielle moves to comfort her. Caitlin cries in Danielle's arms and they go home for the night. For the first time (in a very long time), Caitlin sleeps through the night peacefully.

The next day, Caitlin admits she slept better than she has in awhile, possibly because she is back with the blonde. Danielle tells her that she (Caitlin) handled herself very well considering that it hasn't been that long since they were reunited a day ago and Caitlin smiles lovingly. On the 22nd May, 2022 Danielle and Caitlin decide start a relationship, which pleases the twins very much, Danielle introduces her girlfriend to her mother, Elizabeth, who is pleased and welcomes the brunette into the family as does Danielle's father, Satan.
