This episode picks up where the last one had left, Caitlin had broken down mentally and confessed her innermost thoughts to her blonde partner. Danielle comforted her and held her in her arms, the brunette was slowly becoming closer to the blonde though she never fought it. "I'm sorry Danielle, I guess that I needed that." Apologized the brunette as Danielle wiped her tears away softly; "Everyone needs a cry honey and a shoulder. I'm here for you whenever you need me ok?" The blonde replied as Caitlin nodded.

Caitlin leaned in and kissed her on the lips which Danielle responded too and they enjoyed it, the brunette climbed onto the blonde as she let Danielle roam her hands on her body and loved it. The blonde's soft touch made the brunette feel warmth and comfort, Caitlin unbuttoned the blonde's blouse and massaged her boobs as she moaned, the brunette wanted more so she unzipped her trousers and slipped her hand into Danielle's knickers. However, a knock on the door interrupts them and the blonde zips her trousers and buttons her blouse up. She answers the door to find a woman standing there, it's Melanie. "May I help you?" Asked Danielle as Melanie looked at her wife.

"Home now!" Said Melanie in an authoritative voice, Danielle saw the way Caitlin shuddered at the command and she realised what was happening to Caitlin. Melanie got inpatient with her wife and pushed her out of the office, Caitlin walked out with her head down and Danielle along with her boss knew something wasn't right, the brunette quickly realised that Melanie was lying about working late and stuck to the story that nothing had happened between her and Danielle, Melanie isn't interested. When they reach home, Caitlin puts the kids to bed as Melanie is downstairs and orders Caitlin around.

After a while, Caitlin has a bath and imagines being with Danielle in the peaceful place surrounded by Roses, following the bath Caitlin gets ready for bed and searches for her spare phone. Saving Danielle's number in it and puts a six digit pin on it, Caitlin decides to secretly text her blonde partner on this phone but keeps it with her at all times not wanting Melanie to find it. At twelve o'clock, Melanie comes into the bedroom and Caitlin attempts to be intimate with her wife but Melanie coldly rejects her stating that she is tired. Caitlin feels hurt by the rejection from Melanie - who only seems to want pleasure her wife, when she wants too and she doesn't care about Caitlin's feelings except her own - the brunette silently cries herself to sleep.

Reality finally hit Caitlin hard, while she took her vows seriously, Melanie did not as she didn't want to know what or how Caitlin feels. After all, it was Melanie's idea to get married and then have children but for the past twenty-four years, Caitlin was beginning to question her decision and only voiced her concerns to Danielle. Caitlin did try to voice her concerns to her mother, Jackie, but her mother passed it off as if her daughter was trying to cause trouble in the marriage. Caitlin's dad, Jonathan, had disowned her following the announcement that she is a lesbian, her mother was supportive until the pair had children and was then no longer apart of her daughter's life.

For Caitlin, she had lost everyone and no one was on her side, her friends had turned against her and Melanie wasn't bothered. Losing everyone close to her, Caitlin developed depression and mental health issues due to the lack of family/friends support, even the lack of attention and love from her own wife damaged her. Caitlin wasn't the woman she once knew she was, her life was turned upside down and she felt alone until one day, she met the most gorgeous woman on a case. However, she was prescribed antidepressant tablets and was sent home, as she arrived at work that morning Danielle saw her with the pills and stopped her from taking them; "Caitlin, you don't need these! What you need is a shoulder to cry on and a friend who is there for you. Let me be there for you, please?" Said the blonde as Caitlin looked at the tablets and then flushed them down the sink.

Then she just wrapped her arms around Danielle and hugged her for a good few hours in the blonde's office, she just wanted to be held and to feel safe with someone who wants to be there for her. After a while, the brunette looked up at the blonde and smiled, Danielle smiled back and Caitlin got up to make them a drink. The blonde watched her as she went to the kitchen to make them a drink, Danielle looked through the file and found a problem with an alibi. Caitlin soon returned to the office and joined the blonde to look through the file, as they looked together, the brunette began to massage the blonde's leg turning her on.
