Headcanon
A quick recap of what this is if one of you guys decided to skip all the other chapters before. Essentially I write and give examples of what a country's voice might sound like. That's really all.

This chapter is dedicated to present day UK since I'm trying to ease myself into writing again. If you couldn't tell I'm having a case of the infamous writer's block D:

Voices
United Kingdom [Present Day]:
Now I know there are a wide range of accents, just like the U.S has, in the United Kingdom. From Yorkshire to Cockney accents, from Brummie to Scouse, you've probably heard the saying that in the UK accents change about every 25 miles. So, how do I go about this? Well, I've decided to do the stereotypical British accent (surprise surprise), Modern RP. The RP in Modern RP stands for 'Received Pronounciation', but only around 3% speak pure RP. [1]

I chose this accent because, well, pretty much everyone imagines this standard British accent in their heads when you say British. It's just easier to imagine a stereotypical accent than a Birmingham accent or one from Glasgow. Another reason is that my U.S can already speak in multiple accents, and it could get confusing if another country also did. I'm not saying my UK can't speak in multiple accents, but I'm just cannoning that he prefers to speak in Modern RP because it's easiest to understand for other countries.
